By far the best Mexican food in Marin. I have been eating Mexican food in Marin for 20 years and have been all over California and this one restaurant has more integrity and attention to quality food than any other place I have been. there are no steam tables of over cooked meat and beans, everything is cooked to order. The salsas are fresh and stellar. Other reviewer‘s in this thread clearly are basing their review off single experiences. I have come back to this restaurant to try new items every other week and it never disappoints. We had our mother's day celebration here. This is a neighborhood gem that no one knows about because it is located in a square that ran its course. Love the tacos chicharrones. My husband enjoyed his burrito. Our aupair had a milenesa that looked and tasted soooo good. We spent $130 for 6 people which might be a bit on the higher side but the quality of meat is worth the price. They also provided unlimited nachos and the sauces were delicious. Was meeting a friend in Novato and googled Mexican restaurants, this one came up. It's located on Novato Blvd, on way out into the country. We were greeted and told to seat ourselves. Chips and water were served. Chips a bit stale, but carne asada burrito was very good and flavorful. I ordered glass of Chardonnay and it took forever to receive.
