These old buildings when properly renovated, make cozy warm cafes and coffee shops. It is wonderful to see the effort to keep them purposeful. This one is nicely done. A perfect mix of modern and the past. The original brick work and tin ceiling squares provide a clue to the buildings age. What is its story of this building? What role did it have when historic Nowata was a booming oil town, a major rail road stop, a tourist attraction known for its Radium baths?
The coffee beans are roasted in house. The menu is large. Drinks are fairly priced. Pastries and light sandwiches are available. An Americano with a shot of cream for me. Pumkin Spice season is in full swing. My wife has already been into it for several weeks now. It was over 90 degrees today on the 3rd of October. It just doesn’t feel like pumpkin spice weather to me. She did get it iced.
