El Tapatio — Restaurant in Nowata

We had lunch and I had ordered their flautas. I was about half way through my first one when I realized that it had ground beef. I continued eating thinking they had changed up their flautas. While paying, I asked if they had changed their flautas and was informed that no, there was supposed to be shredded beef not ground beef. When the man at the front heard, he wante to refund what was paid for the flautas. I told him that no, I didn't want a refund because I ate my meal.I was just wondering if they had changed how they made them. Great food ! great service! A couple months ago I called in a carry out order and then when I went to start my car, my car wouldn't start and at this time it was a blizzard outside. So i called the restaurant back and explained to them the situation and told them I would try to walk there but I have a 2 year old daughter and couldn't. The employee then offered to bring me my food and to not get out in the bad weather! I have never had such a caring person actually offer to bring me my food! Service was friendly, but the food IS fantastic! I wasn't expecting much out of a small restaurant in such a tiny town, but wow! I judge a Mexican restaurant on the basics first to get an idea of their overall flavor score: beans, rice, guacamole, chips, & salsa. If they can't get that right then I can practically always expect the meat and the rest of the food to be lacking. However: El Tapatio hit all the marks with flying colors!
