The other day I went here. I chose chicken. After I paid for my order, the owner of the food cart told me that they didn't have enough chicken. They offered to fill up the rest of my order with pork. I kindly refused and said I would take half shrimp instead. They made me pay an additional 2$ for the choice of meat. I, however, think that I shouldn't have to pay more because we already agreed to do a chicken plate. Now they can't deliver on their end of the bargain, and I have to pay extra? It's not my fault that they don't have chicken. This is the primary issue for me: They communicated poorly about their short supply of chicken and were not willing to negotiate or be committed to good customer service. They should have given me either the shrimp for the same price as the chicken, or they should have told me before I paid that they didn't have enough chicken. But changing the food order and then even demanding a bit more money afterward was just unprofessional and rude.
The food wasn't good either. Even if the food were $8 cheaper it still would not have been appropriate for the extremely poor quality. I will tell everyone to stay away...
Read moreThis place is disgusting. The inside of the food truck is filthy. As for the food: Corn is out of a can, cold. Shrimp were not properly cleaned (vein still in tact) and rubbery as heck. The garlic sauce...please, nothing to write home about. If this is the best seafood you've had then I'm shocked. No way these were fresh. Not a chance. The chicken was alright, but mushy. Read below so you know what the chickens are eating.
Oh, the icing on the cake was when one of the workers came out of the food truck and fed the chickens the food out of the garbage, as we were sitting there eating. Literally picked through the entire garbage can and dumped people's food all over the parking lot while their chickens and stray birds came to feast. Then he went back in the truck after his arms had been in there. Not sanitary.
I'm sorry but it was just nasty. I regret eating there. I can understand that feed is expensive, but these guys are literally harvesting their own chickens which are feasting on garbage. Maybe it's better than commercial chicken feed. It probably is. But for God's sake don't do it in front of customers.
I will NEVER return...
