I’ve never written a low star review but this was just such a bizarre experience. I came bc of an instagram post that seemed like a great place to visit. The atmosphere is beautiful and the set up is cute, being next to the beach definitely helps this place. I’d say that was the only good thing, and their dessert. Their lunch menu says it ends at 4:30 but they’ll say it’s 4:00, which is fine but just be aware. We tried ordering from their dinner menu at 4:28 but was told we couldn’t until they took out the menu. So we waited until the menu, which never came. It was a miscommunication that the menu is actually a single wooden board menu that’s placed in front of the bar. Not an actual paper menu that’s I was anticipating and waiting for to order. Sorry that was just really confusing. Finally we were allowed to order after 4:30 and the food was ok. Menu will say “with arugula” but actually has no arugula but had in place, 3 lettuce pieces. This was from their “elevated” menu. Not a huge deal but I did actually want arugula. Menu also said chips with their burger but instead came with fries, which is what we wanted anyways but just another example that the menu and what you get is inconsistent. It was just such a weird experience, I would never come back or take friends visiting to Hawaii. So if you come between 4pm-4:30, don’t be surprised if you’re not greeted or spoken to. It was our first time visiting and they aren’t very considerate of that when it comes to customer service. This was definitely an instagram...
Read moreI’ve visited many beachside cafés across O‘ahu. D’lish stands out. The location feels peaceful. Close to the water. Surrounded by palm trees and open skies. The atmosphere feels relaxed, welcoming, unforced.
The food speaks for itself. Every dish arrives fresh. Poke bowls offer bold, clean flavors. Açaí blends taste smooth, never overly sweet. Breakfast quesadillas come hot, packed with real ingredients. Portions feel generous. Presentation looks thoughtful.
Barefoot Café delivers a decent beachside meal. D’lish offers more. Staff greet guests with genuine warmth. Smiles feel real. Orders handled with care. Service stays consistent without being overbearing. Who does not love quality customer service?
Pricing feels fair. Quality matches cost. No inflated rates. No cut corners. Value shows in every bite!
D’lish delivers flavor, service, and atmosphere. A rare combination. One visit left a strong impression. Every return felt like the right choice. I live on the mainland and come back...
Read moreSTAFF EXTREMELY RUDE! The food is not very great, very overpriced. Super bland I would never go for dinner you only get one serving size if that. Only thing they have that’s good is drinks which are $12. Food is all $15 and above and very bland. Breakfast you can get pancakes you can make at home for $15. The staff is so rude, had an umbrella up and they came over to shut it and said it wasn’t even sunny out mocking there customer and didn’t want there umbrella to blow away. Could have just been nicer about something so simple… we go there almost every weekend you’d think the people would eventually be nice, this has happened more than once. Done giving service to people who...
