30 minutes plus to get to-go margarita and cheese dip with chips. We were told it would be 10 minutes & I’m sure if we hadn’t asked where our order was, it would have been longer:( Please note the “‘monster margarita” for $20. Yes, it didn’t have ice but this margarita with ice is the size of the cheaper margarita! All the chips were broken, too. The manager was rude when we mentioned the size of the margaritas…we told him we didn’t want to pay for two of these so we would just get one. Then he threw $20 at us:(:( This is second issue we have had…last experience my husband ordered something off the menu but the server I guess did not understand - his thumb holding the menu was near another item on menu and that is what she brought. We told her and she did nothing about it and we were charged for something we didn’t want. Thought that might have been an isolated incident, but after last night, I don’t think customer service is a priority at all! Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many amazing restaurants around here…El Mezon, El Tio Pepe, or Mi...
Read moreI'm doing this review in hopes that someone at the restaurant will see it and make improvements. Overall the experience was good but certainly there is room for improvement. The food was good, maybe just a tad better than El maguey. I was pleasantly surprised to get an offering of a free sample of tequila and margarita while we waited, however I was shocked when we ordered the large house margarita to share and it was $14! More expensive than our entrees. The wait staff was okay and we quickly ran out of salsa and chips and I had to walk up to the bar after several wait staff passed our table without asking if we needed more. The atmosphere was pretty good but when I used the restroom I noticed one of the men's sink wasn't working and the soap dispenser wasn't working. They were also out of paper towels so no way to dry your hands. Hopefully next time we check it out I'll get some better vibes and maybe a more reasonable...
Read moreWe love Mexican and bounce around a few favorites locally and found out this place just opened. Initial impressions is the place is big, modestly decorated and clean. Staff was super friendly and service was amazing. We tried a few drinks, margarita and Paloma’s. Both were delicious and well made. Food was on another level, came out quick and was hot. Spicy chicken tacos w/tomatillo sauce and chicken chorizo dish were amazing. I would rank this as best Mexican food in area for sure. Would highly recommend. Owner was engaging and very polite and gave us a bit of family history around a few of the dishes. This place will be successful if they continue the level of detail and care that...
