If you’re looking for a new, fun and delectable place to try and go out with your loved one, friends or family, PLEASE COME HERE. You will not regret it. I swear you will get praise just for suggesting Bristol seafood grill. It’s been a long time since my partner and I have had such a splendid and fabulous evening out: service, hospitality and cuisine. I do not say this lightly, everyone knocked it put of the park. From hostess, to waitress, to our biscuit man, to the manager. There are not enough splendid, terrific words to explain our evening here. Our waitress Jill, my golly, what a joy and delight to have. Jill really made us feel at home even though it was our first time here. She guided us through their menu with exquisite expertise and recommended the lobster bisque and let me say without anything holding back, HOLY MOLY. I will be dreaming about that lobster bisque for years to come. And then, our good pal Nick, the biscuit man!!! came by and offered us fresh, warm biscuits straight from the oven with room temperature spreadable butter. The biscuits were so delicious and Nick, I mean what a character! He was so hilarious and elevated the entire atmosphere. My partner ordered the cowboy ribeye with grilled asparagus and the lobster Mac and cheese. He could not get enough of any item. He loves ribeye steaks but I have never seen him devour a ribeye like the one we were served here, and he couldn’t express how out of this world the lobster Mac n cheese was. I love asparagus but those disappeared before i could sneak a bite!! I ordered the king crab legs and before this, I really truly thought that I had experienced the best, but boy was I wrong. These were the B E S T crab legs I have ever had. No exaggeration. Bristol served me the most delectable crab legs. They were so tender and juicy and the amount of meat there was more than I could eat, plus the wonderful chefs cracked the legs for me so I didn’t have to fuss with them and make a mess of my dress. (AND my butter was served on top of a candle to keep it melty and warm, I mean WOW, talk about incredible service, I felt like royalty) And when I say more than I can eat, I mean it because I can easily finish off a 10oz ribeye plus two sides elsewhere no problem. The wonderful manager Steven came by and checked in on our food to make sure things were superb and we relayed just how incredible our entrees were and he seem extraordinarily pleased to express to the chefs just how much we enjoyed our meals. This speaks volumes to me because management really wants to ensure every member of the team, both front of house and back are appreciated and recognized. It was easy to see how invested every member of this restaurant was in how our meals were executed. Steven was incredibly proud and very invasive with our meal, it was easy to see on his face and mannerisms. No one was overbearing, we had more than enough time to enjoy our meals and expert advise on what to order. My partner and I have not had this much fun out to eat in years. We cannot get over what a spectacular experience we had from start to finish. We cannot wait to tell all of our friends and family and to get our butts back there to try all the other amazing things their menu...
Read moreI’ve never written a review in my life but I felt my rude encounter with the manager, Brad Schnieders, warranted a follow up.
My family and I frequent Bristol’s, and every year we reserve a table by the fireplace for my mom’s birthday dinner.
This year, we booked our usual birthday reservation approximately a month in advance and requested a table by the fire. The hostess confirmed our request was noted on our reservation.
Upon arrival for my mom’s birthday dinner, we were not even seated in the same room as the fireplace. We were sat on the opposite side of the restaurant by the kitchen.
As I stated before, we’ve been eating at a table by the fireplace for my mom’s birthday for YEARS. We expressed our disappointment to the hostess who seated us and she apologized. It was likely not her fault, so we didn’t want to press the situation at that moment.
We enjoyed our dinner and after paying our check, I excused myself from the table (along with my grandma) to speak with the manager about the disappointing seating arrangement. My intention was simply to make the manger aware of the mishandling of our reservation and lack of proactive communication that our seating request could not be fulfilled.
At the hostess stand, my grandma and I asked to speak to the manager, Brad Schnieders. Word for word I told Brad, “I want to say that we really enjoyed our meal tonight for my mom’s birthday dinner, but I want to say that we were disappointed in our seating. I reserved a table by the fireplace nearly a month ago.”
He told me that they had a party of 8 who paid for the table by the fireplace.
For clarification, my grandma asked if we had to pay for a seat by the fire. Brad said no and alluded that the larger party was their priority for the evening.
My grandma said, “Well next year on December 20th, I expect a table by the fireplace.”
Brad cut my grandma off in conversation abruptly saying, “thanks for letting me know,” and he promptly walked away from us. My grandma and I were completely shocked by his behavior considering our end of the conversation was not spoken in anger or a raised tone of voice.
Clearly seeing that my grandma was upset, my mom confronted Brad Schnieders about the situation.
He said that my grandma stuck her finger in his chest. This was a complete lie and a disgusting accusation.
Knowing this action did not sound like my grandma, my mom said, “You mean my 85-year-old mother stuck her finger in your chest?”
To which Brad rudely replied, “Don’t play the age card with me.”
My family and I were appalled by Brad’s management style and the way he treated us. His outright rudeness and lies crossed the line.
Due to this repulsive experience, we will be ending our support...
Read moreThe wife and I decided to try Bristol Seafood and Grill on a Saturday evening over Labor Day weekend. We arrived early which was a good call as the dining room filled up fast. Those stats seated Us in the corner and our server was Robert. Robert greeted us and was very courteous. He went over our drink options first and after he returned with our drinks he went over the menu thoroughly. He was knowledgeable about the menu and the current specials and fresh catches that were still available. My wife opted for the three-course meal starting with the lobster bisque and having the shrimp scampi as the main dish. I was all-in for the king crab legs dinner however. There is a very nice list of appetizers however we didn't want to fill up before the main course. My wife said the lobster bisque was very good and another server my wife said the lobster bisque was good. During the course of the meal another server offered fresh biscuits which is a very nice touch. The shrimp scampi was excellent and my king crab legs were outstanding. Robert was very kind and noticed I was making quite a mess battling this crab leg dinner and brought me a hot steamed towel. Awesome! My wife decided for her dessert she would try the cookies box. Yes it was a box of assorted cookies which when you think about it it's kind of nice. We them with us. It was the best meal we've had in a long time. On our way out Robert offered us a few mints and bid...
