Terrible, the worst experience I could of had at an Outback restaurant. For the most part most Outback are at least good. We were traveling with our kids for Thanksgiving and wanted a decent dinner. It was a joke to say the least. When we arrived there were maybe 6 tables with customers in the entire restaurant. When we got in a guy had to look on the computer for at least 2 full minutes to find a place for us to sit in a nearly empty restaurant. The. he walked us all the way to the back to a booth which made no sense considering we needed a high chair. After I told him we needed a table then he walked us back up front passing sever empty tables and looked in the computer another couple minutes only to ask us if a half booth, half table would work? Then I told him again we need a table with our kids, after looking in the computer again he finally found us a table in a nearly empty restaurant. Then it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to come. After ordering kurndrinkz it took about 20 minutes to get our over cooked Onion Bloom. Then about another 25 minutes for our food which was mostly cold. My steak was so rare it looked like a beating heart and I ordered it medium. 30 minutes later after we were all done eating the waitress finally showed back up and asked how our meal was. I showed her all the rare pink steak I couldn't eat and she said you should of said something I would have brought you another one. Never even saw a Manager the entire time I was there. Would have just left earlier but hard to do with hungry kids.. Anyway they charged me $27 for a steak I wouldn't feed to anyone. Our total bill was nearly $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids and I would have rather eaten raw sewage. Terrible Food and Service, and they even need to look in the computer on GPS 3 different times to find us a seat in a nearly empty restaurant.. Not sure how they stay in business butbinwould rather have eaten at my grandma's assisted living center.. Hope they enjoy the money I gave them, why I paid I...
Read moreI visited this location with my son and grand daughter on Saturday 10/4. From the start, I knew I was in the right place. The host at the door was super inviting and accommodating. They got my party and myself seated immediately. We did use the app to get on the wait list. If you frequent Texas Roadhouse you know this is the best way NOT TO BE SITTING AND WAITING. They are usually pretty busy at all the locations I go to. Moving on, my waitress was Josie, who was an absolute delight. Super friendly, very accommodating, she listened to everything I said in regards to our order and she kept the glasses full. Outside of that her energy was very inviting and lively. Her parents did very well. I'm proud of her. I almost don't wanna go to another TRH. Let alone be waited on by anyone BUT HER!! She really was that pleasant folks, and that's not me gassing her up. THATS A FACT!!! AND I can tell you, just like any business, you have competitors and the only thing that separates you usually from your competitors IS SERVICE. Josie, in my humble opinion is what every employee in TRH ranks should strive to be. SHE IS THE STANDARD. Especially when BAD SERVICE and ATTITUDES are the norm and not the exception in hospitality industries. In closing, the atmosphere was very comfortable and homely. The manager on duty(I believe his name was Josh/Jonathan) came over and checked on us and made sure everything was going well. That was pretty nice too. It's the small things folks. As I left out I even had Sherri help me with bagging my order. She could've just handed me the bag when I asked for it, but she went THAT LAST EXTRA MILE. Again folks, it's the small things that separate you. I had an AMAZING experience and definitely recommend this O'Fallon Mo location. When you get there, look little miss Josie and tell everyone BIGBEN from STL sent...
Read moreMonday night 6:00 reservations. Family of 10 celebrating 21st birthday of nephew Service was performed perfunctorily. We started with drinks + appetizers Bloomin Onion was burned, rare Asian tuna bites delicious but sliced very thinly the sauce was perfect wings were small but tasty Caesar salad was delicious, though the size of a dinner salad. The other salads were also very large Two in our party ordered the steak and unlimited shrimp. Steak was hard-grilled, but inside was as requested and tasty. Each time the shrimp came out 2, they were more burned. Bread and butter 2 boards, one for each table, was brought out at the beginning when we sat down and then when our mains were brought out. The server dumped one container of butter all over one of the diners. All drinks and Waters were readily filled before we even realised we needed refills The drinks were well mixed, beautifully garnished. and delicious, not overly strong with alcohol just right. The manager came to the table to ask if everything was okay and thankedus for coming in. The words were okay but after he walked away we kind of looked at each other it felt fake and creepy. We are a mixed aged group from 21 through 70s. We are generally a pleasant family that dines.out together regularly. Most of us have worked within the service industry, so we notice pretty much everything. There was definitely a lack of connection with the server a couple of times His comments felt almost rude. I guess it was a Monday, I guess you didn't really want to be there...
