First Wok — Restaurant in O’Fallon

This is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant as far as the food and service goes. In the Saint Charles County area they're aren't a whole lot of good options for Chinese food unlike the city of St. Louis. The food seems like it is made from scratch unlike many competitors in the area. I am especially fond of the Orange Chicken and the Crab Rangoon's. I ordered the Sesame Chicken tonight and although good it wasn't as good. The food always seems to be hot and fresh and arrives pretty quickly if doing delivery. Others have mentioned issues about sanitation conditions but never have I ever had any issues with that. Ordered $60 in food for our family and requested no contact, but please ring our doorbell when it is delivered. We have a Ring doorbell, and the delivery driver just dropped off the food, no ring. It sat for 20 minutes before we looked outside. Also, the way that the food was packed was horrible. One rice box punctured the gravy from the egg foo young and wasted and spilled over everything! When I called to report this, I was completely talked over by the owner and they refused to refund the damaged gravy. I couldn’t get a word in. I just started working in Weldon Spring and have been exploring the food scene to find my favorite lunch places. Today, I returned to First Wok for the second time in the past week and love my food as much as I did the first time.

All the employees are insanely friendly and the food comes out fast. Also--it is absolutely delicious! The meat is always very tender, and the sauces are slightly thicker than I am used to (a huge plus!!!). The lunch specials are so reasonable, and their generous servings often last me 2-3 days. So far I have ordered: beef and broccoli, honey chicken, egg drop soup. I get the feeling you really can't go wrong with anything...
