Two Shamrocks Public House — Restaurant in O’Fallon

Made the mistake of going there for bite to eat and was promptly ignored for almost 20 minutes after walking in the door! then it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks and place our order. Food was pretty good but not great. My wife’s order was wrong, but close enough and did not want to complain. However, the horrible music blasting in my ear was something I could not ignore. Not sure who the “target clientele” they were catering to with that! Truly awful…. Fortunately, the waitress did agree to change it to something else… The finishing touch was when I ordered an Irish coffee at the end of the meal and when it came, it was not even lukewarm… Basically, it was room temperature at best. Would’ve been pretty hard to not notice as you carried the glass mug of room temperature liquid to the table…I went ahead and drank it because it was (at least) mixed properly, and then waited another 15 minutes to get the check. At least the waitress seemed understanding when I very POLITELY explained the problems with our dinner and comped us for the drinks. Pretty unprofessional and unsatisfying overall, sorry to say I can’t...

Nice place with great service, friendly faces and clean spaces. Dropped by for a late dinner as we drove through the area. (Tuesday evening, around 8pm dinner, party of four).

For appetizers we ordered the Scotch eggs and the Rueben quesadilla. The Scotch eggs were extremely good and liked by all at our table. The Rueben quesadilla is very flavorful, they don’t skimp on the toppings; half of our group thought the quesadilla was too much flavor for them.

We ordered the Irish potato soup to try it out, not fans. There was an odd raw dough aftertaste, no clue.

For entrees we ordered Fish and chips, Irish meatloaf with colcannon, Shepherd’s pie, and the Buffalo chicken flatbread. The fish and chips were too salty, great otherwise. Both the Irish meatloaf and colcannon were terrific, first time trying either; will definitely get again. The shepherd’s pie had great flavor, but it was also quite greasy - this could be normal, not a dish we frequently find. And the buffalo chicken...

They were friendly even the guest one was cop lol Idk if they was just keeping eyes on us Caz were were the only blacks in there but they was still nice..only reason for the 3 star is because the chicken wings could of been cooked longer and I was missing one I ordered an 8 piece and got 7 wings but will be back to try something else

No it literally said 8 wings I have no reason to lie lol change yo mf menu then and for you to not take accountability shows me your character

I wanted to try this place again but the owner is just rude I could understand if people were straight trash talking the place they just stated their opinions sarcastic or not that’s not how you talk...
