My husband and I were visiting the National Park toward the end of April. We were there 5 days and visited Pistos 3 out of the 5 days!!! First of all, the atmosphere and customer service were top notch!! Everyone was so friendly and they even let me sample a couple things (chicory and mushroom coffee) before making my decision, since it was my first time trying those particular drinks. I have really bad GERD/acid reflux, so I’m always trying to find tasty alternatives to my beloved coffee I’ve had to give up. Second, every single visit I got a spicy chai with oatmilk and it was probably one of the best chais I’ve ever had. I adore chais and I’m really picky about them…so thank you TONS for serving a unique chai and not just getting that liquid chai concentrate like Oregon or Tazo chai!! My husband had a Vanilla Frappe and a piece of their chocolate peanut butter pie and he adored both! Lastly, this is one of the best features of Pistos,…their prices! You can get a large hot drink and bakery item or breakfast sandwich for around $8 give or take and that is so, so much better on the wallet! You can’t even go to Starbucks and get a decent medium size drink alone for that! We were so thrilled at receiving such great products for such a fair price! MORE places need to do this. We can’t all afford astronomical prices anymore and we still deserve to treat ourselves every once in a while. It’s nice to feel like you can do so at Pistos without getting cheated. I wish this place were closer to me because I’d be there ALL THE TIME!! You all...
Read moreA friend and I were looking for some nice local coffee shops to get our day started, and we ended up at Pistos Coffee.
The Drinks: I just went with their drip coffee for the day, added some cream and sugar and that did the trick. The coffee itself initially without the add-ons was delicious! Nice, hot, flavorful and wasn't burnt like some shop.
The Service: Service was great! Staff here are so friendly and welcoming. The noted our orders and got it out to us within a timely manner.
The Atmosphere: Very homey vibe. A frailly owned coffee shop that is just cozy and a nice place to relax or get some work done. The decor was also very nice, different from the modern coffee shops in the cities.
Overall, 5/5! Great drinks and great people. Definitely adding Pistos to...
