Compadre's Texas Cafe — Restaurant in Oak Ridge North

I came in with my family honestly just looking for some fried okra, we went in completely blind- a whole new place we hadn't tried before and no review reading before hand. The Service was amazing, we had the sweetest server who was so attentive, I honestly hate no one else will get to experience their serving due to them moving, but getting to meet them made me look forward on who they bring in next cause i will definitely be visiting again, The manager on duty was a bright soul who made us all laugh just by how much personality she had. The service wasn't even the only good part, the food was absolutely amazing everyone at the table got something completely different except for all our sweet teas (BOMB.. AND ONLY $8 FOR A GALLON?!) and it was all perfect, The waffles were fluffy and so delicious, almost as if they add vanilla extract into the batter before cooking, The chicken friend chicken was amazing and the perfect consistency of breading and chicken- I could honestly go on and on about this one visit if i could.. if you have the chance to stop by this wonderful establishment i would 100%...

So, I finally made my grand appearance to compadres over here and the wonderful little community of oak ridge North Texas it's pretty packed in here.. there's a little baseball team and they're celebrating their win I would imagine congratulations to them! Our server Katherine was absolutely lovely she has a wonderful attitude and is customer focused, she continued to check on us throughout our experience the restaurant remained a busy for the entire duration of our meal, the decor is very cute and very homey the bathrooms are clean with no bad odor my experience here was lovely I enjoyed my meal Catherine it was such a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to coming back to see you again next time with my family. The reason I rated the food 4 stars is because the chicken fried steak is different it wasn't bad but different and not what I expected I look forward to experimenting with other menu items. The men's restroom is clean and no bad odor as well you know those things matter so much when you're dining out. I hope this review...

We’re burger connoisseurs and we travel across states just to try new burgers and I must say COMPADRES TEXAS CAFE’S “Bubba Burger” is one of the BEST burgers we’ve ever had and absolutely the BEST we’ve had in Conroe, The Woodlands and Montgomery county. They always cook our burgers to perfection and they pay attention to notes left on delivery orders and they’ve never failed us, our families and our colleagues. Love how they ALWAYS include all the condiments as noted on all our orders especially when we order delivery. Not to mention their great menu selections. This place definitely cooks from their soul. We love how they care about pleasing their customers and they haven’t lost their touch with service and their delicious food is ALWAYS on point. Everything we’ve tried from this restaurant has never disappointed and always fresh and delicious. Thank you Compadres Texas Cafe keep up the amazing work. Your great food does not go unnoticed.
