China Gourmet — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

China Gourmet 2205 Oak Ridge Rd in Oak ridge NC..The food is pretty good but I’ve had better chinese. I’m in Oak Ridge twice a week and have stopped here a couple times... I think service is terrible here. There is a Hispanic girl who wears a red shirt here and has long hair.. and there’s a little white girl who wears a chinese dress.. these 2 employees talk sh** in Spanish about the customers and diss on them.. and they ask too many questions. I was eating with my fiancé and the Hispanic girl I mentioned asked my fiancé if I was his girlfriend.. he said yes..and she proceeded to ask him “how old are you”? Um.. excuse me.. he don’t know you and he’s not telling you how old he is.. we ignored her question and then she got all pissy and gave us poor service.. I would go somewhere else.. these people are some pretty weird folks.. they just make things really uncomfortable here at...

I wish I could give them a minus 5 stars. They cooked my food in old seed oil. Overcooked the dumplins and burned one side of them all. The Egg Foo young was dark and overcooked. The corn starch gravy was nasty flavored. The meat in my Hunan Beef was stringy and chewy not velvet. The veggies were not par boiled before putting to the wok and too raw. The egg rolls looked fine but tasteless. The Won Ton Soup was flavorless. To top it all off my wife and I got headaches and sharp stomach pains within minutes after eating some of it all . We could not finish this. $52 dollars to feel sick. We will never go back...

Incredibly frustrating time and time again. Unfortunately, there are only a few options within our local area for food. The food is a 3 out of 5 but the “ customer service” is bottom of the barrel. I tried to order a combo $7.80 and asked them to hold the rice. You can’t get a combo without rice. If you choose to not have rice you have to order a large (8.99 + an egg roll in addition.) Mind blowing! I didn’t ask for extra meat , veggies etc. just no rice! Bad customer service will make a business tank faster than anything and word travels quickly in...
