When I walked in to this business, it just smelled so good. I was so excited to eat something good today. There was a sticker on the door which said "woman owned" and I felt so good that even though small....I would be contributing to the growth & success of this business.
However, once I was inside.....I was totally lost. There was only 2......I mean two customers inside but no one was there to help, no one greeted and told u what to do. So I'm looking at the obvious places.....walls and ceilings to find the menu. NONE ADVERSTISED. There was a small menu just sitting on the countertop.
Ignoring this, I figured out what I would like to order and waited as the third customer. Still no communication whatsoever.....and then all of a sudden the guy in front of me left. I waited to 20 minutes and yet nobody helped. Guess what......I LEFT disappointed.
Don't get me wrong....there were 2 ladies who were working super super hard with the orders there. So it wasn't that they were standing around. I think they just need more help and probably some training. Just say hello or greet people when they walk in and give them quick instructions on what to do. When people are waiting, just be courteous to tell them that hey....we are super slammed.....be patient and we will be there. Just basic courtesies......it smelled so good in there.....it was hard for me to leave and drive across to McDonalds and get a bacon egg and cheese through the drive through. I just felt sad for this business tbh. It was a Thu morning with barely any traffic.....like just 3 customers of which they lost 2 due literally due to non...
Read moreEvery time I go to this place the people seem to care less and less. They are a bunch of children that seem to care more about the conversation with their peers than welcoming the customers.
This most recent time, we arrive and no one is there. We walked up and ordered our food, as we ordered our food a group of people that obviously knew the employees. They ordered after us, but yet they started their order first. To my surprise they told my wife that they didn’t have the bagel we asked for although I saw it in the case upon ordering. They gave our bagel to the people after us because they were friends, it was not a big deal but really what bothered me is that they didn’t give us the correct information, they lied and say they have been out.
This place exudes unprofessionalism and a lack of skill and care. I’ve have given this place many chances but this past time was the last. I will continue to tell everyone I know in the Oak Ridge, Greensboro, Kernersville area of the experience we’ve had. Oh and to top it off, the bagels we received were as...
Read moreWow I came in here with my A-Game appetite and was able to satisfy seemingly every neuron in my brain. Growing up outside of NYC in NJ you can get spoiled on something as simple as a bagel. So needless to say it's quite the challenge to find a good bagel when you're in some random part of the country, but this place gave me hope. Not only was the service top notch but the food was fantastic unfortunately I was so hungry it was all gone before I could get a chance to take a picture and even think of doing this review. I had a bacon, egg, & cheese on a sesame bagel with ketchup and black pepper. I also had a sourdough bagel toasted with butter and cream cheese(kinda wish it was toasted a bit more but nonetheless fantastic) and 2 small cinnamon buns that were out of this world good. Definitely worth the time it took me to get here and I will most certainly be back soon and I'll be certain to take pictures for y'all.
P.s. they even have bagel dogs 😱 and their potato salad and egg salad looks...
