This is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. First of all we were here on a Thursday and you would think the service would had been better but we were not acknowledged until a good 15 minutes after being seated. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered chicken and steak fajitas. The food came out pretty fast which surprised me however, it was the most bland food I’ve ever tasted. When I asked for extra guacamole and sour cream they brought out regular guacamole and sour cream portions, but proceeded to tell me it was extra it was the same amount that my husband had so I kindly asked them to take it off of the ticket which they did. I will never eat at this restaurant again. I’m shocked they have a high rating. I could swear they just throw the unused chips back in a large bin and give them back out since none of our chips seemed fresh or in whole pieces.

It has been about a year since I was here last, but the food is still as amazing as it was, as was the speed at which they get your food to you. I probably had less than 4 chips ate before my plate was brought out, this place seems to never fail at their service to their customers. I ordered the Burrito mi rancho, and it was loaded to the edges. So much so that I had to get a to go box to bring my leftovers home. I wish I didn't work on the other side of town, but this will likely become my monthly stop when I get my hair cut. The value for cost is amazing as this whole plate and probably the largest tea I've ever seen at a restaurant was only $11.24, which was my out the door price. I can honestly say that if you haven't tried Gallo Loco yet, seeing by and see how impressed you are.

I have eaten here for years. Very friendly staff and great food. This is a good place for both groups and eating alone. I enjoy sitting outside on the front patio during the warmer months. Inside are plenty of TVs if you are heading out to eat and watch a game. Try the Carne Asada tacos. These are some of the more authentic tacos I have had in this area. It tastes much like the tacos we get in Tijuana. The portions are generous and all meals come with chips and salsa. These are the good thin chips and the salsa has the occasional pepper to keep you on your toes but not kill you with heat.

Gallo Loco is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant in the southern US, so you should probably know what to expect. That being said, this particular Mexican restaurant is absolutely amazing.

In particular, I want to note the fast service. There are a lot of fast food establishments that are slower than Gallo Loco! On too of that, the prices are excellent. You can eat enough delicious food to fill up a big eater for about ten dollars or so before tips and drinks. A couple could eat here for $20 after the tip if they weren't pigging out.

The food itself is exceptional. The tastes are bold and you always have plenty. There is plenty of variety, at least along the theme, and all your favorite American-Mexican dishes are represented.

I must confess a certain bias toward Gallo Loco, but that in and of itself should be a fairly strong endorsement. My wife and I eat there as often as our diets will allow it and maybe that is the strongest endorsement of them all: when two dedicated dieters decide to reward themselves with a little indulgence, this is the place...

Fast, cheap, good Mexican food. It's the only Mexican restaurant we go to in town. It has a great menu selection and the veggie quesadilla is my favorite. Happy hour sun-thurs from 2 to 8, I can get 99 cent draft beer and 1.99 margaritas, can't beat that. Quick service and it doesn't take long to get your food but you have all you can eat chip and salsa while you wait. The portions are big too! There is an outdoor smoking patio in back that you can sit and eat and/or drink at. The people that work there have been there a long time and are awesome. They've even let me stay and have one more drink while they were cleaning up one night when I got off work late and wanted to eat there. I only got a bad order once and they made it right. It is a family restaurant and usually plenty of families with kids in there so we usually choose to sit out back where it is quiet or get take out cause it is usually pretty loud in the restaurant. That's really the only problem I have with it but it's easily fixed with to go order or...
