Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Oakdale

After careful consideration and a few times of my food being absolutely horrible, I figured I'd finally write a review. This place has gone down extremely from when they first opened. I usually get the California Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce is butter and lemon juice and super gritty. Not good. The avocado was brown because they put the fried green tomato on top to hot. Then, it made the avocado greasy, brown, and gross. The potatoes are way undercooked!! It's not crispy in the slightest. Veggies are hard as well. Way undercooked. It's just a disappointment because all the ingredients are there for a delicious healthy meal to be made with nothing less than perfection and love. Just upsetting. You also do not put cold fruit jelly inside of a hot crepe. It makes everything cold. You have to heat up...

We are from Florida and have never heard of Huckleberry’s but found one in Oakdale on our way to Yosemite. The atmosphere was comfortable, the staff we’re extremely friendly from the moment we set foot in the door, The food was good but not great, however our server named Nadine was fabulous. If I owned a business in this area I would hire her immediately. One really unique and cool thing they did was on there iced tea the rimmed glasses with sugar. They also were one of the few places we ate that had both sweet and unsweet tea. In addition they had several flavors of tea and my wife had the peach which had actual peaches in the bottom. Very impressive. For a good meal with a nice atmosphere and great service… Huckleberry’s is a good...

We decided to go here for late breakfast/ early lunch… the Food was terrible. My bf ordered the breakfast burrito - the potatoes were raw and huge.l- barely any eggs or meat, basically just a potato burrito. I ordered the eggs Benedict- regular. It came out with scrambled eggs, my server fixed it promptly and brought me my correct order but the fries were a little hard as well and parts of my egg were chewy. I will say the fried green tomatoes were good- asked for them extra crispy which was great because the tomatoes were on the soggy side. I can’t remember our servers name- he left the receipt- but she was nice and a good server. We will not be back, at least not to this location (oakdale). The food is too expensive to be such...
