Pepperoncini's Pub — Restaurant in Oakdale

The food is good but the delivery/take out service is really bad. We have had so many problems with them. I ordered a salad for pick up and when I got it home and went to eat it there was a freaking wadded up paper towel in it. Next, we were delivered a pizza smaller than what we ordered. Then I ordered extra ranch for my buffalo chicken pizza and didn't get any at all. I called them about it and was told a driver would bring the ranch out to me; 40 minutes later they call me to tell me the drivers aren't coming and they close soon so they will just give me a $2 credit for my next order. The girl was very rude each time I spoke with her on the phone. Like I said, the food is really good but they need to work on their service.

Edit in response to the owner's response: 1. The paper towel was a different time. I was listing all of the problems we have had with this restaurant. 2. I have ordered ranch with my pizza by only putting it in the comments previously and received it so I thought that's all I had to do. Usually buff chicken pizzas come with it but I just wanted to be sure I got it so I wrote it in there. If I needed to formally order it bc there was a charge, I didn't know that. I was just upset that we were told it was going to be brought out to me then 40 minutes later we got a call saying that it wasn't. And when we came to get our order, you guys could have said something like "hey the ranch costs money so do you want to go ahead and add it otherwise it's not in the box". Instead you just didn't give it and didn't say anything. The whole thing just wasn't handled very...

While the food was good, can't say the same about the service. While at the brewery across the street, we were told that Pepperoncini's would deliver so we ordered food for 8 people. Food arrived missing one person's order which the delivery person pointed out himself. When he left to get the missing order, we called to tell them we were not given any utensils or napkins. (Little hard to eat a salad with no fork!) We were told that they didn't have any plasticware which is a liitle hard to believe when you are offering take-out. We were offered a gift certificate for future use which wasn't exactly solving the problem. Roughly 45 minutes after the initial delivery the missing item was delivered along with two forks and two spoons. Definitely, not a great experience especially for the person who was missing her food or the one who had no fork to...

5 stars. I dont give 5 freely. This is great pizza. Im not sure why its been so hard to get decent pizza in this county, but this exceeds "decent"! Medium, mushroom & Black olive ~$16 about.

Crust, traditional, is so good I almost cant separate its qualities from the other components. Cooked properly, a bit of chew, a tiny crisp outer layer. Not bready, flat, or limp. Sauce, again, blends so well, how do you describe just the sauce?! The amount is good, flavorful but not overpowering. Touch of grease that does not run down your hand or soak into the crust - ha, just for taste! The toppings, FINALLY cheese that is chewy and stretchy, baked well on top, added toppings were plentiful.

The only "could be better", the mushrooms were there, I saw them, but I dont think I tasted of felt them in a bite.

Overall, definitely...
