Most of the staff here is really great/accommodating when it comes to orders dot however there is a young more masculine presenting Hispanic girl who works during the afternoon seems to give a lot of attitude to the black customers that frequent this location. When asking for extra fajitas, which are FREE, she never obliges and and has a nasty attitude as if the fajitas are coming out of her paycheck.. I have witnessed her be rude to other black customers before. This is really not a good look, especially considering that this chipotle is located in Oakland.
The shorter young Asian woman who works in the evening (might be the shift supervisor) is always really helpful and pleasant… And there is a young black woman working there who is also extremely pleasant to interact with. I feel no racial bias from these two or any of the other staff, besides the girl that I mentioned above. Read moreHaving been a fan of chipotle for the past 14 years and ordered/ate at various Chipotle from the whole west coast, midwest, thr whole east coast, this Chipotle is the worst. Specifically, the amount of meat you get is minimal -- literally 1 soup spoon full of protein is all you get for a burrito bowl. What it translates is when the guy who carefully used a tong to pickup a thin slice of carnitas (and hoping that the rest that attached to it would fall off before landing onto a burrito bowl), he can't even cover half of the rice/beans surface at the top -- no matter how long he tried to spread the proteins as even as it can be. This whole thing is pathetic. With the drink being forced to be a large (instead of regular) and the fountain has no coke zero but carbonated water, this is far from my positive experience from Chipotle in many other stores that I've visited.

I have a major pet peeve about being at a food counter and asked to wait while the ONLY STAFF PERSON MAKING FOOD puts together a mobile order (seriously people, prioritize your loyal customers who aren’t too lazy to come get their own damn food!), but once they finally help me, service is always friendly, and quick and the food is always good.
The other reason they only get three stars is because there is no display at the check out to show you what you’re being charged. The cashier will tell you, but never loudly enough to be heard, and they’re never paying attention to you so you can’t get them to repeat it clearly.
