I have been here quite a few times and the drinks and customer service are always great! The only issue, which has resulted in 3 stars is due to the fact that all espresso beverages come with one shot no matter the size or if the drink is called a "red eye". I was told this by an employee. Every other coffee shop I've been to, if you increase the size then you get more expresso. Additionally, if a beverage is called a "red eye", then it should have several shots, not just one. The name is misleading and feels intentional. I really do like this coffee shop; however, I think it's unreasonable when someone orders a large, they're just paying extra for milk instead of more expresso. Totally understandable when you’re training people but to have 4 people sit there and stare out the window was a little ridiculous, at least could have had someone run over to say that’s what was going on and I wouldn’t be writing this review. What makes Oakley special is its small town feel and rural nature, and they dropped the most blasé coffee shop imaginable in town, and now Ken’s Kash has the same aesthetic. Please hire a real interior designer that is capable of paying homage to the town and culture and who has more creativity than can be found on the discount rack of a closing Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
