Worst costumer service ever! When you enter, you will be almost ignored and asked to accommodate yourself whereever you can. Then, you'll have to wait long time for a server to show up to even offer a drink. Also, you'll have to wait another etternity to get your food (even when the place was not busy). When they finally bring your food, you'll really realize you picked the wrong place. At time of ordering, we asked how soft carnitas plate was, what my senior aunt specifically requested due denture issues. We were offered a very juicy, soft, assorted carnitas plate. Carnitas turned out to be re-heated, very dry and would be hard to eat for anyone. When I mentioned it to two different staff members, they became very rude, replying that's what they had, and that had no idea who had told us otherwise. No attempt for an apologize, of course, from any of them. After that, the service, that was already terrible, got worse. They never showed up at our table again, so I had to get up and walked to the cashier to ask myself for the bill; the same happened later that I went to pay it. On top of everything, the cashier-supervisor and his partner, were looking at me with a mocking smile while they got from me their easy money I had to provided them with in exchange for an horrendous service. What about the food quality? Over priced dishes, no too generous portions (even if you order a humble dish like beef liver with onion and beans, you'll have to pay $18.99 dollars). Sauces tasted clearly from a bottle, beans had almost a watery consistency, not talking about the faded rice, insipid and stiff, clearly reheated too. All in small portions. Tortilla chips were brought fast, but they tasted clearly cold, stiff and with a mild rancid smell. Tortillas were from store, very hot but with very sour smell, wrapped in a foil grossly thrown on top the beans. My carne asada was a decent portion, but insipid as well. I was never asked how cooked I wanted it, so I guess I was very lucky that it was not too dry, but only dry. All dishes presented in very cheap small plates. My "piña colada cocktail" was mediocre, too sweet and in need of flavor; added whipping cream on top was melting out of the cup, so cup was sticky and dripping all over the table. $8 bucks is too high of a price for this sticky mess. Restroom smelled like a stinky swamp, that they tried to mask with an even more disgusting smelling bath tablet. Dispensers were broken and overall bathroom looked neglected. Worst part with all this issues is that it was too close to booths. Mexican decorations were a decent try, but the place itself looked neglected with a suffocating air and environment and black closed blinds. The only music you would be barely able to hear is at the bar area. Location is a nightmare for any driver. Parking lot entrance is a mess; you are forced to turn on a lane at a very heavy trafficked one lane street to a super narrow entrance with all sunked and damaged pavement, so if you go too slow over it to avoid scraping your car badly, you risk being hit by passing cars. Area around looked as an industrial one, dusty and miserable, so your first impresión will be like getting to a warehouse. I strongly reccomend to avoid this place...
Read moreI don't like leaving bad reviews. This was just upsetting though. They gave me the wrong order My mom wanted a chile relleno and a side of shrimp. I inquired as to the type of way the prepared shrimp.
One of the ways they prepared shrimp was "Al mojo de ajo" (garlic shrimp). So i ordered the side of shrimp. So my mom ordered the chile relleno and enchilada dish (which comes with a side of beans, sour cream and rice) and a side of garlic shrimp.
She got a mini portion of the dish and with one tortilla (not 3 that come with chile relleno and enchilada dish). After a while she got her dish and at that point I had just received a shrimp cocktail not the mixed one (shrimp & octopus).
I pointed out that my mom only recieved one tortilla and asked if i could get another order..... they gave us another order and charged us for it. They made the mistake and didn't offer to fix it now but charged us more. The service was fair.
When i got the bill and seen that not only did they charge me for tortillas but they charged me for a full plate on the garlic shrimp..... they don't even have that on the menu but they charged $14.99!!!!
I would not recommend this place as they messed up more than 3 things. They fixed the first, charged me for the second and sided me in the third (again) with the shrimp.
Sorry, but i will NEVER GO AGAIN and do not recommend this place. They seem interested more in money than reputation or...
Read moreThey don't really keep up with what the customers ask. For example, they offered to refill my water and didn't come back for like 20 min's and when they did they gave us luke warm water. My mom asked for a togo cup for her drink and two boxes for the meals and they didn't come back we had to go remind them about it when we got up to pay. Keep in mind that there was only two other tables eating during this time, they weren't busy. I would completely understand if they were, but it was pretty much dead. They just stood around talking and laughing. I use to work in the restaurant industry and you have to constantly keep busy and make the company look good, that didn't happen. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this place and won't be coming back...
