Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ocala

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER: We ordered food to be delivered by Chipotle Catering for a staff training. The food was late and delivered by a Door Dash driver who was very confused and lost (note that we ordered directly from Chipotle Catering-so be aware of that Door Dash delivers their orders). After the Door Dash driver left, we realized HALF of the order was missing PLUS the catering containers of the food we did receive were BARELY filled! We called the driver and he told us to call Door Dash (no help since we did not order from Door Dash). We then called the Chipotle store on SR 200 (new store) but we were not connected to the actual store. We got a call center OVERSEAS. I could barely hear the employee and she was not helpful. The call center employee called the local Chipotle store but they REFUSED to help (we spent $340 on food for our staff and got half of what we paid for!). If you want half the food you ordered (the half of the order received was half filled containers of food) & unhelpful staff at every turn; order from this Chipotle location. After a bad first experience here, I spoke to the regional manager who offered me a comp meal so I gave this place a second chance. This time the weight was minimal and the store was fully staffed. Employees seem to have a better attitude than the first time I was here. The store had all of the menu options this time and the food was very good. However, the chips were horrible, and when I asked about them, the young man at the counter said that they make all the chips at 8 o’clock in the morning and that’s how it is. He did not offer to even replace the chips. I did like the 70s music they were playing, though. A much better visit, but they really do need to remedy the problem with the chips as I’m sure they sell many of them! Looking at other reviews, it is clear that this restaurant is suffering from very bad growing pains, it is my hope that it will become a solid performing store because it’s the closest one to my house and the other chipotle in our town...

My husband and I walked in at 5:45 pm on a Friday and the serving area was a mess. They were out of all the beans and pepper/onions. I wanted black beans and the onion/peppers and the bins were empty. She scooped out about 10 black beans and I was told that they were out of the onion/peppers and gave me the scraps from the bin (which was very little). The young girl moved so slowly to get beans from the drive thru area. Never even added any peppers/onions from there. She moved so slowly that she obviously didn’t want to be there. In fact no one seemed to be wanting to work. No enthusiasm. Older lady working in drive through but definitely not running the place if she was the manager. Such a total disappointment.
