I got a smoothie while visiting family last week. I asked the cashier if one of the smoothies was dairy free. She said yes. Shortly after heading home my lip started to swell... I have a dairy allergy and the smoothie contained whey protein (not noted on the menu either - just "20g Protein" while others called out whey protein). I spent the rest of the day dealing with an allergic reaction. When we called to let them know we did receive an apology from the manager and my husband said the owner was very apologetic and quick to respond to his employees regarding this issue. They spoke to my sister-in-law and husband as I was pretty sick the remainder of the day. While I appreciate the quick response - this was extremely scary as I haven't had reaction in several years. Read moreI ordered and received a frozen Açaí bowl, I think they must freeze the Acai the night before or something, and then add fresh toppings as they’re ordered… which is great in theory. But it was over an hour at the beach before I could actually enjoy the açaí. I like to mix my bowls all together and couldn’t because it was literally hard as a rock at the bottom of the container. The fruit was essentially hot by the time the açaí thawed. I have never had this issue with an açaí bowl. My fiancé got an okay smoothie so I can’t knock them for that. Additionally, the container was inconvenient as I had a lot of trouble snapping the lid back on white waiting the elongated thawing period. Bottom line, go somewhere else if you want...

We get multiple smoothies 1-2 times week and even bring our friends here too...last week I decided to drive to grab a smoothie with a co-worker on our lunch break.. when we went to check out I told the guy checking us out that I had enough points for 5$ off my smoothie...he said that it didn't pop up when he went to run my card...so I asked him to hold on a minute and I'd show him the text message that said I have the points ..he responded" o I already ran the card".... he never offered to refund the money or fix it.
