What a great Vegan place! I am a fan and will be back. There are plenty of options for food and drink. Coffee, of course, smoothies. Bowls and sandwiches. No dairy or meat, this place is vegan and you wonât tell the difference. I'll have to post the menus next visit.
This place's interior isn't big but its overall seating footprint is big l. There are plenty of areas to sit outdoors. And some indoors seating when needed. See photos.
Saturday business was brisk and employees were a well oiled machine: quick and efficient. The line went fast. I got my ordered items in a reasonable time. They do yell out your name but I was luckily enough to hear while the parking lot door was open. Otherwise, there is no way to hear. I highly recommend they crack open a tad the rear windows so people outside can hear. The employees are nice enough to bring stuff out, my sandwich but not my coffee. But I am sure if I didn't pick up in a decent time, someone would come out.
I LOVE the pay it forward area. So many there!..
Sadly I saw a young child pull out some neighbor's (Pink Spa's?) onions so parents do need to watch their kids. A shame.
First time here and I meet two nice groups as I was here. I...
Read moreI used to love bunkhouse - especially the GF treats and nondairy milk options - and Iâve even bought some merch. But today was my last day, sadly. Iâve been in there a few times in the past few months where the blonde barista was wearing her mask under her chin and there was a group doing a book club or bible study and not a single one wore a mask despite the âmasks requiredâ sign on the door. Today the same barista wasnât wearing a mask. I asked her why and she said she wasnât afraid and proceeded to ask if Iâm âfrom hereâ because Martin Co. doesnât require it. Then she told a man who came in after me that it was âup to himâ when he asked if he needed a mask. Again, why post the sign then? Might as well take it down so people can make informed decisions on whether they want to go in. Probably also not the best idea to argue with customers who are, in fact, âfrom hereâ which has nothing to do with a customerâs personal...
Read moreIs the coffee any good? Not sure. They cater to the vegan crowd here. Great, but at least offer an actual dairy product for the other 95% of us here. I like a little cream in my coffee most of the time. I was offered some other plant based alternative. Not the same. Not even a little bit. If I feel like a black coffee I may come here again, but probably not since my wife always takes cream.
Update: Perhaps it's listed somewhere on a sign somewhere in the shop. Not sure. I didn't see it walking in as I was not explicitly looking for a sign or any indication that there was even such a thing as a vegan coffee shop. It's uncommon. Regardless, I found this on google maps as that is the most common place to look businesses up around here. Yelp is pretty useless in this area. I'm sorry that the business did not take control of the google business listing, and make it prominent that...
