1 star for the effort and 1 for politeness. We were so excited to eat here because we’ve been wanting to get pho, however this place disappointed us high key. It took a minute for us to get seated because the server was dealing with pick up orders I guess. It wasn’t that busy, I just think they don’t have the adequate amount of workers. Well, we finally got seated. While we looked through the menu we were wondering where our water is, it took a minute. Also wished the menus had the images labeled with the matching dish. While we took a lil while to decide what we wanted to eat, no one ever once came to check up on us. At that point we were all starving and still nobody came to get our order. FINALLY, the lady came and took our orders. Still, our food took forever. Our (pork, shrimp) rolls got here first needless to say. We were super stoked to try them but guess what...it tasted pretty wack. It was so hard to chew ! I don’t know if it was the rice paper or the meat or just everything but yes everything about the rolls was hard to chew, both the pork and shrimp rolls. It really hurt our jaw. I was extremely disappointed because it left a bad impression on my 2 friends who was trying pho the first time. The simple drinks my friends ordered ALSO took forever. They would’ve forgot my friend’s spring roll if she didn’t speak up. Sigh. Everything was just not that great. The servers, however, were all really polite. But...sorry Mr. Pho, won’t come back again. A for effort and the politeness though.

The BEST pho in Albuquerque!!! I've been looking for a good pho place for a few years now and hadn't found one. I went to the A-1 Oriental Market and saw Mr. Pho next door, so I gave it a try. The place looked spotless and I liked that the tables weren't crammed in the restaurant. The service was courteous and prompt. I ordered the #7 pho and asked for it to be spicy. I have to explain what I consider to be a good pho, which I hadn't found until this day. The broth is the most important to me. I want a beefy broth with great depth of flavor and the usual pho spices. The meat is second and I want them to be tender. The #7 was steak, flank and tendon. There was the perfect amount of each and the texture of all of them were just right! I ate everything in sight, including the side of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeño. Every other pho I've had so far was bland with very weak spices and a broth that wasn't very flavorful. No depth of flavor. Mr. Pho serves the best pho I've had in NM!!

Mr.Pho is the best Pho place around! I have been to four others around the area and I have not found one better than this place. Service is top notch! Once you go in they greet you and sit you down and bring you water. A minute later they come back around and ask if you would like to order anything. In which that time I always get an order or two depending how many in our party and get egg rolls. This place has they best crunchy egg rolls I have ever tasted. Once we finish those up they bring me the number one soup it's so good!!!! Here are the pics of the most recent.

Apparently they don't have managers. The food is good but the service was absolutely repulsive today. I live 2 miles away and am here weekly. They hired new hosts and hostess that have no prior customer service experience apparently. I called in a to go order and they told me it would take 15 mins. I got there 20 mins later and they didn't have my order in the system. The host asked me what I ordered and said it was "still working" 10 mins later my order was ready. All I ordered was beef vermicelli, vegetarian egg rolls, and thai tea with boba. There was 3 host/hostess working tonight and only one table so I have no clue where the miscommuniation among the staff was.To top it off, they also don't know how to seal boba tea drinks properly. When I went to shake my drink up (because it has the "sealed" plastic top on top) it flew every where. This happened at the cashier so the host went back and re-did it. He came back with a new drink. I left with it but this time shook it up in my car while driving off. Little did I know that it wasn't sealed, again, so it blasted all over my white leather seats. Went back again to have it fixed and asked if I could speak with a manager. The host tells me they don't have managers here. In fact, they never do is what he said. I'm not sure what's going on, but this place use to be good in service and food. I'm still gonna go back because the chef in the back knows how to cook 🤷🏽‍♀️. But the whole front staff today, was a mess. Getting any sealed drink here is a waste of money. You lose most of the product because they squeeze it...

I’m not really sure what just happened, I have ordered to go three times, and every single time there was either something wrong, or something missing from my order.

I am new to the area, and generally order when I’m too tired to cook, and so I don’t make much of a fuss because I’m just too tired, but three times in a row?

First time I ordered egg noodles, instead of the regular pho noodles for a friend, they didn’t do it, but stil charged me. Second time, I ordered the chicken pho, and it had literally three pieces of chicken in it.

This third and final time, I ordered extra chicken just to make sure, and extra steamed veggies. I waited about 15 minutes to head over, got there and the veggies were not in the bag, the young woman with glasses told me it would be a couple of minutes, and proceeded to add the charge to my order. I asked her to not, as they had 15 minutes already to do that. It’s the whole reason I call ahead, to have the order ready when I get there and not wait extra time.

Her response to me when I expressed that this was the third time something was wrong, and I most likely would not be coming back was “well, we can just not charge you and not give you the food”

I’m truly baffled by that response. I was not upset, my voice was not raised, I simply expressed there had been multiple issues...
