Arriving here at 3PM on a Thursday afternoon to this unglamorous strip-mall location, I couldn't believe there were basically no parking spots left. Walking inside I was surprised to find the place probably 75% filled. It is a long, narrow basic room with a lot of fun color and crab themed drawings. Basic small metal tables and chairs, almost all only able to hold 4 people. We had a group of 5 so were pretty tightly crammed in once you had some pizza, wings, plates, and beer. Moderately loud pop background music playing and, combined with the tight table placement and general concrete warehouse design, it can definitely get a little loud. The ordering process is clunky and kind of a pain TBH. You use QR codes and can order food through there on your phone which will be delivered to your table, but while you can see the beer menu online, you can't order and must go up to the bar to a single register where every beer you order must have a separate ID presented, for each time you order. While not the most expensive, this also isn't a low-cost budget place - $6-8 16oz pours and $17 pizzas (Medium sized, basically 4 slices). Beer variety is awesome, beer quality is great, and the food is also hot and delicious. They have a lot of fun with the crab designs, beer names, and all their logos and stuff. Staff were friendly and food/ beers came quickly once you got your order placed. Bottom line for me is between the strip mall and small uncomfortable tables and weird order process.....not sure I will go out of my way to come back here in person, but certainly will keep buying their great beers at my local...

Update: I know I just posted this review but damn, just found out they made these pizzas!!! It’s crazy good. The one with the pepperoni and jalapeño was incredible. Actually, that’s all I ate. Tried a different brew and that also was delicious. Tell the bartender what you like ina beer and then go with the recommendation. Just wow. Loving it.

So I came here because it was close to work and some people were getting together. From the outside, it just looked like a large nondescript location with no personality. Seriously there are so many locations like this. But once you go inside, it is something totally different. The vaulted ceilings over 20 feet high. Wide and spacious. There are 2 sides of this brewery, the one on the right can be closed off for a private party. As you can see, it is a nice location for after work get together. I don’t really know much about the food situation as there were pizza provided (which by the way was amazing)! I am sure they have other options as well. Now I am not much of a drinker and I don’t like a really hoppy beer. So u asked the bartender for his recommendation. Let me tell you he nailed it. I don’t know what it was but I think I heard #1 and it was delicious. I may try something different too before I leave but the atmosphere, the brew, the whole package...

When we moved to the USA a year ago we spent our first 3 months searching for what could become our new ‘regular’ haunt - somewhere that delivers quality beers with friendly staff where you don’t need to worry too much about what you’re wearing or who you’re with because you’re just welcome

And it took a while UNTIL we came across crooked crab, and even though it’s a bit outside of what you’d call ‘local’ (25 min drive) - we make it every couple of weeks because there’s nowhere quite like it. A combination of super beers, great pizzas and incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. That final point there, the staff, is a bit differential for these guys. Everyone who works here makes you feel welcome and quickly almost like friends - in particular for us Victoria was someone who made us want to come back just for how friendly and conversational she was, and every repeat visit since she goes out of her way to say hello and see how we are. It genuinely makes a massive difference and is the prototype for how tap room staff should be! We also have to call out Ashley/Ashleigh who is also just so welcoming and friendly too. BUT that’s a bit unfair as everyone here is just fab!!

Thanks for giving us what we were looking for - somewhere to enjoy a quality beer and...
