Bahama Buck's - Odessa (E Hwy 191) — Restaurant in Odessa

There were 3 cars in line and one in the parking lot when we arrived. Another person and their child went into the store while we were in the drive-thru. Still took 17 minutes from the time we ordered until we were at the window. This store is in a good location but not super busy. I thought we would be in and out of the drive-thru quickly. Nope...took a total of 20 minutes with hardly any customers. I thought the Midland location off Loop 250 was slow. Then when we got to the window the customer service just plain sucked. No smile, no eye contact, not even an unmeaningful "thank you" or "have a nice day". I thought my generation was doomed. I was wrong. These kiddos need to learn a sense of urgency and customer service skills. The worst part was that I saw quite a few workers but none of them were focused on actually working. I seriously hate leaving bad reviews, but the girl working by herself this morning was rude, my total was 13.38 i gave her $20 ( than told her i had the .38 Cents, so i could get back $7 even) she said she couldnt take it bc she already had entered the amount, but like i asked so 62 cents of change plus the 38 im trying to give her doesnt allow me to get $1, (she was rude and said I GUESS) its ridiculous that people dont want to take the time and do the MATH, like honey dont worry your money is not going to come out SHORT “IF” you know what your doing, its not that hard to simply take peoples change and do the math, sad that my kiddos noticed how rude she was, if your not a people person maybe your in...

Bahama Bucks is great, this location not so much. 6 teens running it, no manager, no one inside ordering and one car in driveway and it took FOREVER (20 minutes) to get our order. 1 person taking order at window eating a snowcone, one persons wiping cups and texting, one person actually working and making the cones, one watching videos and folding towels (only folded 10), one cleaning the same freezer 3 times while flirting and blowing kisses at the window eating her cone, one taking orders inside and working.
