The traditional Cambodian food offerings were exceptional; I wished to sample everything but will need to return to try additional dishes. This trip's objective was to obtain a large bowl of pho. Upon arrival, Angelina and Aiden provided a warm welcome at the reception counter, inviting us to select our seating. Our server, Jessica, promptly presented menus and inquired about our beverage preferences. As is my custom, I informed her of my status as a top 10% Google Maps reviewer and my intention to sample authentic Cambodian pho. My brother, Joe, ordered the beef and broccoli combo with hot and sour soup; Chip selected the Kung Pao chicken; and Mike chose the cashew chicken. Each dish featured generous portions, accompanied by either fried or steamed rice, and an egg roll. Personally, I opted for the rare beef pho. Having a clear preference, I also ordered shrimp spring rolls and a refreshing matcha (green tea and milk) boba drink. Upon arrival, the pho was steaming hot, and my rare steak was elegantly presented on a separate plate for convenient addition. Their well-appointed salad bar featured an array of fresh garnishes, many of which are cultivated in their on-site greenhouse. The use of fresh ingredients significantly enhances the dining experience. * Bean sprouts (giá) * Thai basil (húng quế) * Cilantro (ngò rí) * Mint (húng cay or húng lủi) * Lime wedges (chanh) * Thinly sliced jalapeños(ớt) * Thinly sliced white onions (hành tây) They also be offered some house sauces on the side: a nice oil based Cambodian chili paste and a very tasty oil-based roasted garlic sauce too. After piling everything together inside of my bowl of pho. I was ready to dig in and boy was I pleased. I had to push myself away from the table and leave one of the spring rolls, after hitting the full meter, (unfortunately it wouldn't have made the rest of the ride back home in my hot saddle bags) Every single delicious bite satisfied my hankering gor a great bowl! 🥣 the service was amazing, friendly and prompt, there was plenty of staff to address our needs. All four of us left happy and full. Looking forward to a return trip Maybe to do an overnight camping trip on the motorcycles rent one of the cabins and stick around for the breakfast buffet on a Sunday. A highly recommended, yet largely undiscovered, local gem. The next time you're headed for "Big Mac" be sure to put Lakefront Express, on your list of things to do. I am pleased to promote this establishment and facilitate the discovery of exceptional culinary experiences and local adventures throughout our Nebraska communites. Until next time, keep it real, Nebraska, and stay hungry. #foodreviews #usegaleforce #foodphotography #foodporn #nebraska #foodie #foodanddrinknebraska #nebraskafood #Nebraskafoodie #nebraskaoutback #Nebraskaeats #Nebraskafood #Nebraskastrong #omnomnom #NebraskaRocks

We had a good stay at the Lakefront Express. Our trip unfortunately got off to a bit of a rocky start. The owner gave away our RV, and put us in a less optimal one. We specifically picked RV 5 based on its lot and features, so it was very disappointing to deal with that. Other than that, the location very was close to Martin Bay, which we liked. No view of the lake but it was just on the other side of the road. The RV had AC, and a few cooking supplies, fridge. All you needed. Even a deck attached. No stove top, just an electric skillet - it was very slow to heat up, so we did most of our cooking on the grill. It also has a mini store and restaurant out front, so we grabbed dinner there. The food was actually not bad I thought for what I expected And was very reasonably priced. My wife wasn’t a fan though - she thought it was too greasy. All in all, we’d consider coming back if the owner ensured us that we’d get the unit we booked. It was a better experience vs. north shore for sure. We did expect the owner to remedy the situation with our reservation - maybe even some money back would’ve helped for the hassle and it wasn’t as nice either.

This was a quirky little shop I didn’t expect to see in Nebraska. I can tell you on a hot day in Lake Mac, it was perfectly placed to just pull in and park, enjoy some food and finish off with an ice cream. The caramel was incredibly fluffy, lavender ice cream was just the right amount of floral, and the shrimp pho with the toppings was perfect for a hot day. Seems family run and all the cousins that work and run the restaurant are so nice and give great recommendations.

The owners of this campground are absolutely amazing. I have had many different random questions that they have been very helpful with. When we got here, we had no propane for the grill, and the owner was here with a new bottle within 5 mins, free of charge. I asked where the closest place to get ice was, and again, he asked how many 10 lbs bags we needed and brought them right away. They also supply firewood for a small fee, that he is bringing to us tomorrow night. I'm very impressed with the attentiveness and the quickness of their responses. That alone makes the stay wonderful. However, these places are very reasonably priced, a decent location that's close enough to the water, and it's peaceful here. PET FRIENDLY

Book at your own risk. We booked to stay at RV 4 and we were very disappointed. The outside, the weeds we’re overgrown, dried dog poop by the stairs near the deck. On the deck, it had a small table and a grill, both very dirty. Once we made our way in, we got hit with a smell of mildew mixed with wet dog and dog pee. The walls on the RV were stained, and filthy. There was an old spider web with old bugs near the bed. The kitchen, the blinds, all the appliances and the futons were filthy. I understand that this is not the “Holiday inn” as stated on the email reservation, but the amount of filth was disturbing. The shower had not been cleaned in years along with the whole RV. Honestly, I don’t think anything has ever been cleaned. The windows, mirrors and everything you touched left a greasy, dirty feeling. We booked online and was ok with the RV being old and outdated (as the pictures show) but the amount of filth was very disturbing. I called the owner asking if we could be moved, he said “RV 5 is the biggest one” I said “I’m not looking for bigger, I’m looking for cleaner” he said “we are all booked and regarding cleanliness, they are all the same.” And he hung up. I was not sure what to expect, maybe for him to send someone to try and clean it but nothing. It was horrible and I would not recommend this...
