The Beach House — Hotel in Ogallala

We stayed at the beach house and it was perfect because we had a large party with us. My only complaint is about the rooms upstairs, it advertises “5 bedrooms” and it has 3 bedrooms plus 2 bedrooms in the loft area that overlook the living room so if you’re staying in the rooms in the loft, it is not private and it’s incredibly noisey. The rooms technically only have 3 walls and they open up to the living room so forget peaceful sleep. Also, the beds are all full size instead of queens so it’s a really tight squeeze especially if you have a kiddo wanting to sleep with the parents. Other than that, it was perfect!! The house looks over the lake and everything is nice and clean. Very large house with tons of space and close...

Absolutely love it here! Nice place to stay, clean, and homey! They have done a very nice job with renovation and still working hard to get more done! The owners are awesome, so nice and accommodating! I've stayed her for a month while I finished up my contract at the hospital in Ogallala and not once have I felt unsafe or insecure about my stay... Even though it wasn't the season to enjoy the lake we stayed and it made our weekend perfect. Everything was just like home and easy check-in with such nice owners and service. Might change from camping to having a home to rent on Summer...
