Very nice, clean space that's easy to find and has a lot of seating. Friendly, prompt service.

To start they brought a small plate of still warm edamame with some salt sprinkled on it. I love to start any meal with a green vegetable as it helps balance blood sugar. I'd say it was ok. I've had better but I appreciated it.

I ordered cashew chicken. They asked the spice level - from 1 to 5 with 5 being the most spicy. I picked 3 and I'm really happy with that level. It has a slight burn to it (if that's how to describe it) but I wouldn't call it spicy. I thought it was perfect. This was my favorite dish. It comes with rice. I wanted to eat it all. Vibrant colors, flavors with perfectly cooked vegetables. It was $16 and I took home leftovers. There isn't a lunch menu so it was more than I usually spend for lunch.

My friend got green curry chicken and it was at a level 1 so it was good but I think level 2 would've been better. It comes in a bowl, like soup and a plate with rice.

The only thing I didn't care for was the pineapple fried rice. It has raisins in it and while it looked beautiful and had fresh tomato and cucumber slices on the plate, I just didn't love the flavor. It had a lot going on. I believe it had fresh tomatoes in it. Very different from any fried rice I've had before and I wouldn't order it. Not that it was bad, I would just try...

I’ve been here many times with my fiance, this is one of our favorite restaurants. We kinda consider ourselves food critics on the low low and always are trying new restaurants😂 anyways, this place has the BEST pho I’ve ever had, I have always loved pho and have tried it from countless different restaurants, but my fiancé hasn’t always been a fan, this place convinced him he loves it just as much as me. Along with their Thai tea, we get that combo nearly every time we come. The people are always super kind and I hope more people will support them continuously because I don’t know what I’d do without their food, I crave it on a weekly basis. I do recommend eating in if you get the pho, it comes with more than if you do takeout, but still worth the price for me. I’ve had their yellow curry which was still good, but the pho is better, and I’ve also had their mango sticky rice which was a little pricey and didn’t come with as much as I thought but I did order takeout so I’m not sure if it would come with more if you ordered in. Overall it’s one of my go to restaurants and the owners, cooks, and servers, deserve all the support because it’s a lovely restaurant with...

Just move here, new in town, from the South East where non-American food are abundant and authentic. Went here for our family's Easter lunch on a Sunday. The male server we had (Dan) was attentive, prompt, very personable (even exchanged LinkeIn contact with my son), and served us great! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Found out he's the husband of the chef/owner. His wife's food is DELICIOUS--every single one we ordered. My daughter and I are VEGAN with sensitivity to a lot of animal based food, and GLUTEN-FREE. My daughter requested lots of veggies in her drunken noodles and they loaded that dish that she was so happy and satisfied. I ordered the Laos Style Papaya Salad and they loaded it with lots of veggies that it was so refreshing, filling, and satisfying. The plating is beautiful! The place is clean. And the bathroom is clean! You can always tell how a restaurant's kitchen's sanitary condition is by the condition of their bathrooms. The atmosphere is relaxing. Decor is fun. What a treat to have our Easter lunch here. It was just the experience we were needing that day. This is now our favorite Thai place...

This place really exceeded my expectations. (P.S. sorry for the partially munched pics) Out with the old, in with the new. (Pho-bahn, I'll miss your Lemmy Tofu sando though)😉 Sabai Jai has it going on. The remodel is subtle, yet very pretty. ... but never mind that. The absolute BEST food you'll likely find on the East Bench here off Harrison Blvd / 20th St. I'm in culinary, and I must say the basil chiffonade was so consistent and so very thin. Like 2 mm thin. Not varying in consistency whatsoever. Like, this food is so fresh. I had the Beef Panang Curry and the Tofu Pad Thai - level 3 spice. The portions are perfect. Curry was probably 28oz or so plus about a cup of rice. I'm not shoveling in the last 8 bites waaaay past full. (Just making smaller and smaller bites to stretch it bc it's hard to part ways with it) The prices are great as well. Perfectly stuffed for $16 each (before tip). Pro tip: 1-5 for spice level at Sabai Jai (From 1: "no spice" all the way to 5: "effing hot")

Sabai Jai is a great restaurant with a mixture of Thai food and Vietnamese food. As you entered the restaurant you will notice that there are two menus. In this case I took the fried Thai rice R16. This dish was great with plenty of seafood (as per my choice). I also ordered a Thai iced tea. I must mention this is the biggest tea I ever saw. Even with such great portions I think the flavor was what anybody could wish from a Thai restaurant. It's definitely a place I would go back to. Something that I found curios and I want to share it is that when I ask to get the food to go. I got a real plastic container instead. I find this a cute detail.

Ambience was eclectic, with both traditional Thai and western influences. Service was congenial, efficient and thoughtful. My son greatly enjoyed his Red Curry, and my Yellow Curry was very tasty. Condiments brought to the table to add to the entrees were delish! The regular Thai iced tea was great, as was my Thai tea smoothie with boba (pro tip: consume the boba balls quickly, before they clump together and/or freeze in this drink). A worthy stop on your way through Ogden.
