It's a great place to go for a walk and for the grandbabies to get some energy out and to see and hear some nature definitely recommend it for a nice place to walk the only thing I would say is right now if you go south there doing some serious construction ripping out a bunch of trees and whatnot hopefully it won't ruin it to much so if you have Littles right now I would recommend heading North for now, normally I would recommend exactly the opposite so you don't have to cross the street, etc. hopefully, you will give it a try and have a great nature walk in the city as close as you can get without going up the canyon, and it's a great place if you are serious about getting some great walking or cycling in and don't have time to go up to one of our great hiking and biking trails in...

Nothing beats a Riding or Walking next to a River on a Smooth Path passing neighbors and then a Beautiful Botanical Garden. Quiet and Serene among the Urban Hustle and Bustle of the City. Nice restaurants at either end of this short 3 Mile Trail. I start at the Ogden Gateway Sign at 19th & Washington East to the mouth of the canyon then reverse and go Downstream West over the path to a park to watch children play. One of our Hidden Treasures in the Heart of the City. More Adventures further West with multiple bicycle paths to 21st Street Pond and South to Bonaventure Park and Beyond to Riverdale and South Weber along the Weber River. However many miles it takes for your contentment. Life is about the journey not the...

I love coming here! The trails are kept so nice. It would be nice to see more trash cans along the walk ways. The bathrooms are pretty gross and didn't have soap when I was there so that sucked. The playground has no restrictions (it's a park so that's expected) and I'm sure it's a covid breeding ground (that's a large reason so many of the playgrounds were/are shut down) so let your kids play at your own risk. There is no hand sanitizer around so make sure to bring some if you're planning on playing, using the bathroom, or eating. This park is pretty busy and high traffic so if you're worried about covid at all also make sure to pack a mask! It is kept up really well and a beautiful area so for sure...

Okay, this place is so cute! I was looking for hiking places and this pulled up… I wouldn’t say it’s actually “hiking” but definitely a nice walk and beautiful scenery! There is so much to do and see. There was a little garden (no public picking), tons of plants and flowers, cute little paths to walk or ride along, workout stations, a river. There was also a few grills that were accessible by the river so that’s a plus, picnic tables are available and tons of shady seating options!

I went to the Ogden botanical garden for Earth Day birthday again this year. I've been going for several years It continues to grow. There was quite a few booths. Lots of representation. There was also a good selection of plants at some of the different booths. You should totally put this on your calendar!

Often shady, sometimes crowded, never boring. One of my favorite places to take a stroll. The people and dogs you meet along this trail are the friendliest. It's a great place to see the changing seasons. Leaves change color, flowers bloom. Level and paved.
