One of the picturesque experiences in Ogden! The water is beautiful the vegetation is amazing the people are friendly and you can learn a lot about all of the different trees and flowers and vegetation everything is so well-maintained. The bike paths and walking paths are just splendidly paved and it really is just a beautiful moment that you can step away from the rat race and feel at one with nature. I go here often throughout the week I ride my bike there or drive there and there's plenty of parking. Definately Bike, walk and rollerblade here all 3 experiences and views are vastly different experiences with varied modes of locomotion. I go up and down the Ogden River we go all the way down to Grant or we go up to the canyon and see the waterfall past the dinosaur park you can't go wrong here and it's super safe it's fun to go the long distance and go under the roads and through all the paths it's just beautiful. Be sure to take off your shoes and dip your feet...

A beautiful place to spend some time during the deep Spring days, when the flowers are in full bloom and the plants are growing fruit. There is a dedicated rose 🌹 garden on campus with all sorts of rose species and colors. You will find many people here taking photos and see the occasional marriage taking place near the pergola just East of the rose garden. Along the botanical garden runs the Ogden River Parkway which stretches from the Rainbow Garden Cafe to the Riverdale Frisbee Golf course and beyond (over 11 miles one way). This parkway passes many sites within Ogden, including the George Eccles Dinosaur Museum & the Lorin Farr Community Pool which was featured in the 90s hit-film classic ‘The Sandlot’! The parkway is worth an evening stroll, bike ride, picnic in the grass, or even a romantic walk with a favorite person of yours. A lovely locale to...

A lush, student-based (Utah State University), family-friendly, season-oriented plot of land, set up as a park with its many wide-open spaces of grass and its seated and tabled pavillions, or as an exercise track--quiet and soothing--with its paved trails going all the length of the river and parkway.

Not a day goes by in which it doesn't accommodate three or four generations' worth of walkers, picnickers, and explorers, easily fitting itself to everyone's needs. The Gardens are excellent, also, for any relevant kind of event, up to and including getting married (I got hitched there, myself).

From life's most solemn occasions to the most casual and spontaneous drop-by for hitting the reset button, the Ogden Botanical Gardens is a must-have on your personal map--indispensable for the Ogden resident and a game-changer (if not a lifeline) for...

We visited in July, and the beautiful perennial and rose gardens were in full bloom! The vegetable gardens were full of produce that is donated to the community. After walking through the gardens, don't miss the walking trail that follows the river behind the gardens. BIKERS-There is a newly installed bike rental station in the back of the gardens with self pay/ drop-off features. WATER LOVERS - we saw serval families rafting/tubing with easy access sites along the trail. PICNIC - There are large covered areas to set up and enjoy the gardens or sit on a secret bench nestled inside the gardens.
