Axetreme Fun — Restaurant in Oglesby

I go to this place about once a month with a church group. They always treat us nice and professional. It's an updated facility that is very nicely set up. I think they have 8 throwing lanes, couches to relax, an indoors bag set, and 2 pool tables. Its a very open floor plan to allow you to flow around the place and still stay in sight with your group.

Recently, I took my wife here on a date night and she loved it. They took the time to show her how throw an axe safely as she had never been. In a few minutes, she was smilin' ear to ear and loving every second. It was like $52 for two of us and we had the lane for over an hour, but that got us sodas as well. We could have stayed longer, but we were hungry and going to get dinner.

I would recommend this place to anyone. They will take the time to show you how to throw so, do not be scared to ask for help. Chuck and his staff...

Great facility! I’m from out of state and was visiting a friend in Oglesby, she recommended axe throwing. There was a group of 4 of us and the staff was very helpful and attentive. I had never thrown axes before and I thought it was great that the staff stayed and had helpful pointers until I was able to get the axe in. We played pool after our axe time was up, the pool tables were nice and the pool sticks were in great shape, which I feel like is hard to find most places. After, we did some shopping and I wanted to take home a sweatshirt. However, they didn’t have my size. The staff offered to make me one and have it ready next week! I thought that was nice but because I was heading back home I just opted for another style. Really cool place, neat building. Excited to have a local place like this. Good times all around. Nice management, great employees, and a great place. They have axe throwing lanes for plenty of people, dart boards, pool tables, and cornhole boards inside.

The drinks and throwing are priced well and won't break the bank. It makes for a good afternoon activity to let out some steam and have a good time. Whether you're new to axe throwing like me or have experience you'll have a good time and the team there will take the time to teach you to stick the axe within a few throws.
