IHOP — Restaurant in Ohio

Waited a couple of minutes to get seated, a family of three, only 4-6 other tables, not a problem, there were two waitresses and another one training. while walking to our table, the waitress asked what we wanted to drink. we felt rushed. ordered our drinks, they brought them, then asked if we knew what we wanted to eat, only being at our table less than 5 minutes. we asked for more time, and they came back we ordered. My drink was less than half full. we waited for over a half hour, and my drink stayed emptied for more than 15 minutes. food finally came, they told us that they didn't have any avocado when i wanted the avocado burger, and they were trying to act like everything was hot and fresh, well my burger was cold, bowl of mac and cheese was cold, mozzarella sticks weren't even cooked all the way and was cold, another chicken sandwich was cold. they wonder why drivers don't go inside to eat anymore. there was maybe a max of 6 tables the hour and fifteen we were in there. they gave a discount of 8 dollars and some change and a 20% off NEXT visit it stayied at the table. there will not be a next visit. put a black bear dinner in or something beside this pathetic waste of space. all we want as drivers is a FRESH and HOT cooked meal. It's not hard, and it's clear this IHOP can't provide any of that. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY...

To the manager who was on duty today (5/21/23 between 11 am and noon; she appeared to be about 40-50ish years old with brown hair and blonde highlights), you need to be a leader and not a boss. While our server Dawn S (from mine and my mom’s receipt) was busting her tail during the lunch rush, you instead sat with your group of Karen friends at the table next to us and let them treat her poorly. It is your job as a manager to stand up for your team members and help in areas where needed. You could’ve helped Dawn bring out all the food at once to your Karen friends, but instead let her make two trips, which btw the one chick you were sitting with, made the snotty comment about where her French toast was, which took that second trip back to retrieve it. You let your friends walk all over your server who was busting her tail by herself instead of helping her out. Do better!

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I went in there this evening to have dinner. I'm sitting there waiting for my meal and you could hear the cook in there screaming and cussing! The waitress was also complaining loudly as well. The whole restaurant could hear them. It was brought to the guy bussing the tables that we could hear him cussing and it wasn't appropriate. He said something to the waitress who had mentioned she was a manager. When he said something to her, her response was "yeah yeah". At that point I did something I have never done I got up and walked out without my food. I wasn't the only one either. When me and another guest told the "manager" why we were leaving she just laughed. Neither one of those two individuals should be working there let alone being a manager!! I will never go back to this restaurant again. I ended up...
