I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, our visit to The Loaded Barrel Bar and Grill was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

To start, the place wasn’t even that busy. Most of the tables were just people drinking beer. It still took over two hours just to get two pizzas (made with pre-made crusts) and a sub. That’s not an exaggeration. Even getting drink refills was a struggle. We had to ask multiple times, and by the time the food finally came out, we were already full from sitting and drinking for two hours.

Our server was inattentive at best. I had to go up to the bar several times just to ask where our food was, especially the 10" pizza we ordered that never showed up. Each time, I was told “just wait 8 more minutes.” Thirty-eight minutes later, I went back again and was told the pizza had been sitting on top of the oven for a while. No one bothered to bring it to us.

When the food did finally arrive, it was just okay, but absolutely not worth the wait. They did remake one pizza, as they burnt it, and gave us the really burnt one for free, but charged for the replacement.

The bartender was also opening beer bottles by shoving them under his shirt and using the fabric to pop the caps. It was gross and completely unhygienic, especially in a place serving food and drinks.

Overall, what should’ve been a simple, casual night out turned into a frustrating 3-hour ordeal. Between the poor service, painfully slow kitchen, an extremely loud band, and questionable hygiene practices, I can’t recommend this place at all. After talking to a few others, we weren’t the only ones, several people said they’ve had similar bad experiences here. Definitely won’t...

Husband and I were in Celina doing some errands and decided to be spontaneous and try a place we have never heard of.

We showed up and seated ourselves. The bartender came over and took our drink order. We waited a bit and she came back to take our order. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and bbq Mac and cheese bowl to split. We waited and waited, another couple came in and ordered and received their food before us. We waited some more… 40 minutes goes by and I’m at the point I want to pay for our drinks and walk out and another lady who did not take our order must have noticed and came over and asked what we ordered so she could go check on the status of it. Basically she took our order again and put it in to be made.

While sitting there I saw a cook in the kitchen with their long hair down - which I believe is very unhygienic, but it’s a bar, so what else should I have expected.

The bartender came back and said she was sorry she lost our ticket and put it in the system but it didn’t save and that is why it was taking so long. She did not offer anything for her mistake. I was not happy, but we got the food. It was definitely not worth the wait. Very below average. The bbq was dry, the mac and CHEESE was cheese-less and the quesadillas was like something I could’ve made at home better in 5 minutes. Waited another while for our bill and bounced.

Not worth it at all, now I know why we have never heard of it! Out...

Normally a bar and grill sounds really good. This is more like a bar that serves food. You can tell they are trying to up the quality of their food but they have not gotten there yet. The bone-in wings were really good. The blue cheese served with them was really runny and extremely sweet. Not exactly normal for blue cheese. The burger was very beautiful but when I bit into it it was extremely dry and overcooked. The dressing on the Caesar salad I am pretty sure was not Ceasar at all. If I had to guess I would say that it was Italian. The breading on the fish sandwich did not accent the fish correctly. The fish itself was good but the breading made the whole thing unpleasant. To top it off, once our waitress took our order we never saw her again. Our food was brought out but there was no one to see if we needed anything. When I looked this place up online I could not wait to try it out. But now I am feeling I made a mistake. They do have some good things to build on but they need to do their homework a little bit. Perhaps we will try them again one day. I really hope they find room for improvement. Everyone was very friendly but the place was kind of chaotic. So if you are looking for a bar I would definitely recommend them. But if you are looking for a quiet dinner,...

We flew in tonight for dinner as the reviews and pics looked good online. I will say there were a few hiccups but even still the food was amazing, and the prices were good. They only had 1 cook & 1 waitresses working and I'm guessing they don't normally have that many people on a Thursday night because she was bartending and waitressing & was super busy. Some small mistakes were made and I helped her out a tad w/our service but overall we were understanding & we'd come here again if ever in the area. 1 other mention is that there's a cc fee if not paying cash; fyi.

Jamie's is a quaint little restaurant. The evening I was there they were playing bingo with poker playing cards. Never heard of this before. Anyhow, their food was spot on. The pop was a little flat but I don't mind, some people do. I ordered a sub, potato wedges, and deepfry pickles. When I left I was full. The waitress came several times to see if I needed anything. There's plenty of room here for large get-togethers. There are also several large screen TVs and funny signs all around the place. It was a fun experience. I will be going back.
