McCord Coney Island — Restaurant in Ohio

They have no idea how to make a Mushroom Swiss burger which will be explained later and They're overpriced for 1 of their Veggie Wraps is almost $9. In the $8.00 range but close and can be made cheaper and better at home [It is made like the joke in family guy about pizza places make salads, which I wouldn't of complained about it if it was $3, ] because including the Hummus (which can be made with less than a $1 can of Garbanzo Beans) there was only few slices of cucumbers, not even a whole 1 tomatoe, and a bunch of lettuce which if you were to buy all those ingredients at the grocery store,and you can make more than they offer.

On top of that someone I giving a last chance at being in a relationship with me (because he mooches off of everyone) told me my meal was free because the mushrooms were not sauteed and they have sauteed mushroom burger on the menu but they cannot saute mushrooms which is the only reason I got anything I was going on a morning walk, I asked repeating that I would like in the veggie wrap

I wasn't even going to eat the food if it cost money because that would of been plan robbery to have that on the menu at that price no matter what kind of restaurant, the meal just was not giving and the low quality, high price didn't pass the vibe check (and Yes I cannot wait to hear how cringing this might sound to people who do not speak in AAVE that almost all modern to this time slang comes from with teens and adults)

And then the worst part is the Woman at the front counter wanted me to be appreciated that someone else paid for an overpriced low quality meal, if I could find them id give them the $10

They had really good Onion Rings I haven't seen anywhere else, the place was clean. It's nice that the seat yourself is next to the counter so you won't wait a a table for long

My experience; when I walked in the waiter said sit down anywhere you like. My husband and I sat down at a booth. We sat and sat and saw the waitress wait on a guy that came after us to take his order. Then she continued to talk to the other costumers and randomly cash out other costumers. We were still sitting without any water or any service. Then my stomach started to hurt so I laid down on the bench. I would say about 15 minutes went by before she even came by and took our order. She said, I’m so sorry I didn’t know you were sick. Honestly I didn’t think that matter when you are supposed to give the best service. I also noticed the owner went around to everybody in the restaurant and spoke and chitchat and never spoke to us. I also noticed as other people came in there order was placed in a timely matter. The food was like any other Coney Island but the service needs help or maybe my husband and I didn’t look the part. Whose to say? I’ll let you...

On a Monday morning, pushing noon, I tried calling twice to place an order only to have the phone left on the counter on the second call for me to listen to the music of the kitchen ultimately until I chose to hang up from just being left on hold for 5+ minutes. The first call, they lifted the phone off the hook and immediately hung it up without any answer at all. When I tried calling back 15min later to speak with a manager about the poor conduct of their staff in their willingness to take a to-go order, the line was still busy from the phone being left laying on the counter.

While I will attest, their food is good, which is the whole reason I tried placing an order in the first place. I'm sorely disappointed that I'm still upset by their poor conduct enough to be leaving...
