Well I used to love this place up until I had a 25 person education workshop at their banquet room. Tonight I walked into a room set up completely wrong for an education seminar. Instead it was supposed to be set up class room style- no big deal . So I asked them to set it up right. Instead the owner got pissed at this request and angrily told his staff to set it up . Then the TV controller to the TV was missing so my power point was in danger of not being presented. Luckily last minute he figured out how to navigate the TV on the TV itself . But no apology, instead pissed off as if I lost the controller . But it was his lack of management that lost it . Be angry at yourself, not me . Presentation was supposed to start at 5:30 . Nothing ready . Drink orders taken at 5:45. I complained to the bitchy server/food preparer that the food was not out . She said it’s just appetizers which is what you ordered. except the shrimp cocktail isn’t out. Well is the food out or not ??? Last time I checked shrimp cocktail is food. 1 server for 25 people ???? What ?? 1 ? Luckily the food was good, the server that served us was great . There is a reason the place is empty most weekend nights, and the ownership changes buildings every two years . Such a bad experience. I made dinner reservations for me and my girlfriend. (anniversary dinner) When we arrived there were 3 women who sat us, all of them made us feel very uncomfortable and we were told that the kitchen was closing and that they would not be able to accommodate us. My girlfriend wanted to leave immediately. After pleading with the staff that our reservations were made by telephone earlier in the week by the owner, they seated us in a dark booth. We ordered some drinks and bruschetta. I dont eat alot of bread so this was a treat - the appetizer lacked flavor and freshness (3/10) Next we ordered our dinner, she had a ribeye (medium rare) and a baked potato....i got the strip steak( medium rare) with gorgonzola cheese, mushroom, reduction sauce + the house potatoes. My steak was undercooked and the potatoes were decent. The Ribeye was a tad over cooked and her potatoe was dry and burnt. We picked through the potatoes and had a few bites of our steaks and left. This meal was not only sub-par but my feelings we're hurt. Last year i had the best meal of my life at Rachel's and could not wait to go back! I ordered the exact same thing and the difference was concerning. Would not return...

Food was great that we even decided to get a drink at the bar afterwards. EXCEPT my boyfriend and I were denied service because the bartender told us our VALID LICENSES WERE INVALID. We were shocked because we are 26 and 23 years old and both had valid licenses. They only denied us service because we are from out of state. My boyfriend is active duty military and even showed his military id and the bartender took his military ID to the back room where she apparently "scanned" his id.... she comes back saying that his military ID was INVALID. ACTIVE DUTY PEOPLE. 26 and 23 years old and we were denied service because we were from out of state. We even spoke to a "manager" and she even looked at our birth dates on our ids and clearly knew that we were over 21. So if you're out of state trying to get a drink.. better try somewhere else because they will...
