Heard this place had a pizza buffet so we decided to drive and check it out. When my wife, our son and myself arrived we walked in and thought we must have misunderstood because we didn't see a buffet. The young lady at the desk informed us it was in the room to the left and we needed to pay at the counter we were at then we would receive plates and a small foam bowl and a small cup. We did as instructed and headed to the next room. When we walked in we noticed there was only 1 slice of cheese pizza. We got that for our son then sat down to wait. My wife then made herself a small salad while we waited. After 15 minutes I went back to the other room and asked if there was going to be any more pizza. I was informed it was in the oven. By this time several more families had came in and were also waiting. 10 minutes later a small pep and banana pepper pizza was placed in there. I asked the yound lady if by chance they were about to bring out more and possibly a pep or just a cheese pizza and she gave me a dirty look and said I guess we can put another one in the oven. We each got 1 slice so others could have 1 slice and picked the stuff off for our son the best we could. 20 minutes later there was still no other options and we were still very hungry. My wife and son were very disappointed and my wife said can we please just leave, this was such a waist of time and 35ish bucks. I agreed and we went home and just made pb&j sandwiches for each of us and agreed not to make that mistake again. I've taken the time to let everyone know that I could that this is not a pizza buffet. A pizza buffet has multiple pizza options ready for customers at all times. They have breadsticks and other readily available options. Be smart, take your money and just pick anywhere else. I understand this place is under new management but I have read reviews and it must have been changed over weeks ago by now. To get people to come back you absolutely need to step it up. If you can't properly perform and supply a pizza buffet, please take this option away. Learn and grow, not...
ย ย ย Read moreFirst time here. I think they are a little overpriced for the quality of food that they use. Got a 6inch BLT, large pizza, a personal breakfast pizza and a kids meal and it was $50. Normally I wouldn't mind that price for all that food, but the quality was just very poor. The lady at the front wasn't overly friendly or welcoming to us even though we explained we weren't from the area and it was our first time at the establishment. The moment we stepped in (at 2pm on a Sunday) she said "is this for here or to go?" no welcome or smile. The older lady was much sweeter and turned on the TV for my son when we asked. The breakfast pizza was good, just very bland and didn't have much flavor. The blt bacon was burnt pretty badly and the mayonnaise had a odd tangy flavor, but other than that was okay. The large cheese pizza was good, no complaints there. The kids meal was almost 7 dollars and came with maybe 12 mini corn dogs. Seems a little pricey in my opinion, considering they tasted freezer burnt and my son threw up in the bathroom shortly after eating. We did end up getting a cookie on the way out, and they were very good(although they seemed like they were made from another independent vendor).
I can't compare to what they used to be as other users have because it was our first time, but there was nothing there I would...
ย ย ย Read moreNew customer. Was running errands miles from home. Was in their area and wanted to try them. TRIED ordering online. When the site asked for my location (car), I tried entering my home address (8 miles away), the site wouldn't accept it, and I got a pop-up with a choice between an area in SPRINGFIELD, miles away from our house and in the opposite direction. The other "choice" was a few words that didn't make sense. I walked into Short Stop to place our order and showed 2 girls what I was getting from their site and explained it was impossible to order online. I placed our order. It didn't take long to cook. And it tasted good. The boneless wings with garlic sauce was REALLY good! Would have been better if they had more sauce tho. The sauce was a bit dry. The spaghetti LOOKED amazing! It was a HUGE portion. Enough for 2-3 people, and had melted mozzarella in it. I never had spaghetti like THAT before. But the sauce was very tangy. We had to add a little sugar to it to neutralize the tanginess. The price was reasonable. We would definitely go again. We brought home 2 paper menus (1 for the car), and we can call to order since their site doesn't work. We won't be getting the...
