Hershey Ice Cream Springfield — Restaurant in Springfield

My husband and I went to try their ice cream today. It was our first and last visit. Firstly we had a coupon for buy 1 menu item get 1 free. I mentioned it to manager/owner who promptly said it was only for piqua mall location but coupon does not state piqua only it said piqua and participating locations. I would have been okay with him just saying we don't honor that coupon, but , instead chose to lie to me apparently. Secondly, after receiving 3 samples the equivalent of 1/16 teaspoon I was told they have a 3 sample limit. Now the 4th would have in all likelihood been the last sample I requested. I would have in no way come close to trying all 44 flavors. It was explained by owner he knew It was silly , however, he acted like he had no say in the matter. Ice cream cones and shake were good. Very disappointed that this nice little ice cream parlor will not unlock doors and allow for walk up counter service. Also, umbrellas outside were not open atop tables, except for a note saying " don't open" ... no reason to have car drive up window only ... very uninviting atmosphere with a "Stay away all you Covid Carriers" atmosphere ... open doors, allow inside seating and open those umbrellas, for goodness sakes! Got a single dip cone very skimpy there was not even any ice cream in the cone! Just a small scoop on top never had an ice cream place serve a single scoop like that very disappointing for the price will not visit again. Lots of flavors and ice cream was good but disappointing visit based on other reviews expected it to be better experience.
