I recently visited Sidelines V - Sylvania, which seems to be a part of a chain. The vibe is what you’d expect from a classic sports bar: nothing flashy, but cozy and comfortable. There are two main seating areas—one larger side with low-top tables and booths, and a smaller side with high-top tables. Both sections have their own bar areas and are filled with plenty of TVs (some were off), some showing sports and others playing movies. For those of you who are wondering if you can bring your kids, there were some families with young kids on the smaller side. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful. I was unsure about which cider to get, and they generously offered samples of two, which I really appreciated. I ended up going with the St. Julian Forbidden Fruit Cherry cider, and when it arrived, I was shocked—a tall, 23 oz cold glass for just $7. Great value! It was refreshing, and a great pick for anyone who enjoys fruitier ciders. If you’re into sweeter and fun ciders, the Boardwalk Pink Lemonade is also a nice option. After 8:30 PM, they offer daily deals—including half-off select pizzas and $5 select appetizers. I took advantage and ordered the Veggie Pizza and Pretzel Bites. The Veggie Pizza was a little bigger than the size of my hand with a thin crust, a generous layer of cheese, and a decent variety of veggie toppings. The major downside was that the cheese and toppings didn’t stick well to the crust, so everything kept sliding off with each bite. Still, at $6, it felt like a fair deal. The Pretzel Bites were strange… They had a dark, tough exterior that made them look slightly overcooked. They were still edible, especially when dipped in the accompanying cheese sauce, but I probably wouldn’t order them again. That said, for $5, it wasn’t worth making a fuss. They also offer happy hour, late night eats, and daily specials, which I’ve attached photos of, as well as some menu pages. Overall, while the food had a few hits and misses, the great drink value and nightly deals make this a place I’d definitely come back to.

I've always liked Sidelines and there food the Lambertville location is by far the best. This Sylvania location can't get mine or my co workers to go orders right they always screw it up and all we get is a "Sorry about that" yet we order food from this location hoping the quality has changed and surprise surprise nothing changes in fact it's gotten worse. Tuesday 3/10/20 my co worker and i ordered food to go i got the cowboy burger and wanted it cooked medium instead it was cooked raw and blood was pouring out of it. My co worker got chicken quesadillas his chicken was dry and there wasn't any chips serviced with his quesadillas. I've giving this location lots of 2nd chances since they typically serve good food but at this point i don't plan on ordering here again nothing like wasting your lunch break picking up food and then having to throw it out.

Trash!! They close two hours early ever night. I wasted a drive here because the google listing says they close at 11 on Monday. The worst part is nothing else was open after that. I wasted the only time I had coming here because they don’t have accurate hours. Closing two hours early?!?!?! Get here and the guy says they’re closed. TRASH-take your business to ROOSTERS.

We absolutely love this place great food and service. Until today. I am not sure why all of a sudden we were ignored by the waitress, first initial H. We had to get our own boxes to take our food home. We then continued to wait for her to come, Rich wanted more coffee, yet no service. So we decided to leave. Then after waiting for the check he went to the bar and sat to pay. She waited on everyone else, even those that came in as he sat there, they got beers and he continued to sit there and then he was finally able to pay. We left a good tip, 20%, but it didn’t reflect the poor service we received. All was good, pleasant so I am not sure why it turned as it did. I work in retail and am all about customer service, up until today it has excelled at this establishment. Was it because they messed up the Keno card we turned in? They did gave us the one they should have ran though. Yet it seems that was why as we truly were ignored. Watch the video, we were closest to the end of the bar. You will see us wait, and wait and wait. I only want this waitress to know her actions have repercussions on not only her but your establishment. We wish her well and hope this can be a lesson learned. That is your choice. Ours is to try it again and...

Went a lunch time and it was not very busy with plenty of room on both sides of the restaurant. Was sat and it took around 15-20 minutes for our server to come back to take our food order after taking our drink order. Quite a long time when at lunch time when some people have 30 minute lunches. After ordering it took another 10-15 minutes for our food, which is not anything unreasonable. The fowl balls where mostly small overly hard pieces with a few larger pieces which would be considered as a normal boneless wing. The other order was a regular cheeseburger. The edges were all burnt while the middle was as it was requested. BBQ sauce was requested to be added ONTO the burger. Which was really only placed in a puddle of it so the bottom was soaked. I grew up on the Original Sidelines which i do still enjoy going to however this one is lacking much of the same positives that the original posses. I wouldn't go back...
