Taco Bell — Restaurant in Ohio

I live close to here and I work late, so I've used this drive-thru several times. It has often been slow, and various orders have had errors, but they're friendly and there aren't many other places open. Tonight, I waited at each stage of the drive-thru even though I was the only car. I paid, received a drink, and then waited at the pick-up window. I kept waiting until someone inside noticed I was still outside, waiting at the window (waiting on food). Nevertheless, the two items I had ordered still weren't finished. No one said anything to me, so I just continued to wait longer. Eventually, I got tired of waiting and just drove away without the food.

Once home, I called to ask for a refund since I'd paid with a credit card. The shift manager who answered the phone was polite and recognized the order, but was unable to refund the money. Instead, he offered a phone number to call customer service, but it was the wrong phone number (1-800-SOS-TACO was an exclusively corporate-use number; 1-800-TACO-BEL is the customer service contact number).

Friendly staff, but the speed and quality have regularly been poor. Ultimately, I don't want to go here anymore; I just...

I live close by so I go here somewhat frequently. Of all of the Taco Bell’s I’ve been to, this one is probably the worst. They aren’t very good at making the food. The portions are always too small (for example they always under fill my burritos) and the ingredient proportions are usually off (for example all of the sauce is on one side but not the other). Also their freezes are always subpar. Their machine over freezes them or something but it’s basically just all ice and not much of the actual drink and flavor. They also consistently under fill the freezes. Also, during COVID when employees are supposed to be wearing their masks, the window cashier doesn’t always have one on.

The good side is that the drive through is pretty fast. I saw some old reviews saying they were slow but recently they have been very quick every time I have gone. The have all but one time had my order correct and the one time was when we had a really big order. Forgetting something once and a while is an understandable mistake and I won’t hold that against them, but overall, the workers and/management are subpar and obviously don’t care about the quality...

I never thought I'd say I love Taco Bell for breakfast but. . . I love Taco Bell for breakfast! Now, before you go, you have to understand, I am not much of a breakfast eater, but we stopped by that morning with my man's kiddos on our way to dropping them off at school (kiddos need to eat, right?) The breakfast burrito with bacon 🥓 combo was my choice. I made sure I got Taco Bell's Breakfast Salsa to 'complete' my burrito experience. It was nothing short of nirvana. I was not disappointed in the least. I still had a hash brown side I treated like a dessert because I never once put that burrito down until it was completely consumed. I recommend their strawberry 🍓 freeze as a refreshing drink alternative (pro tip: you may not want to drink it too fast!) Of course, the kiddos ate too, but by the time I looked around to see if they were done or if they liked theirs, it was like breakfast never happened, they both had their faces in their phones (I call that a win!)
