Vinyl Coffee — Restaurant in Ohio

It’s always a treat to get something from Vinyl! The merch is so cool and worth getting. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the shops atmosphere and overall the vibes are awesome. The only thing that is unfortunate is the attitude from 2 of the crew members, some of them make me feel dumb when ordering. I had a few instances when I ordered a drink and I asked if they can add an additional flavor/syrup and they made me feel like just because it’s not on the menu I’m the most rancid person to ever walk into the cafe that day. Vinyl has a lot of creative and good drinks they have customized and so it’s gonna take me a good minute to decide which one I want to order. If there’s a line, I take a picture and step to the back. If there’s no line then I’ll take a minute to look at the menu, I’ll apologize and ask for a moment so I can decide what I want to order. Idk 2 baristas in particular make me feel like if I don’t know how different beans are roasted and how long cold brew should brew at a certain temp then I shouldn’t be ordering coffee there and I should go to McDonald’s or something (not slamming McDonald, that place is fire). Those 2 baristas give me that “uhhh…I guess so” energy, they’re not it. It’s not a crime to ask for brown butter in my matcha, I’m being polite and asking “hey sorry, if it’s possible can you add brown butter to that matcha”, So there’s literally no reason why those 2 baristas give people such an uncalled for attitude.

But besides that I highly recommend Vinyl! If you’re visiting Washington Court House, Vinyl Coffee is a MUST to visit. Despite my experience, I honestly feel like nothing would keep me from coming back to this place, their coffee is THAT good and also the atmosphere is...

Stopped in yesterday while in the area. Although a nice atmosphere, right off when you walk up to the door there's a guy playing guitar with an open case asking for money right next to the door. Walked up to the counter, guy working really wasn't friendly, ask him if he had sugar free caramel and looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He had to call somebody else over, and he tried to ask her and she wasn't understanding so I asked if they had sugar-free caramel, to which she replied no but we have brown butter. I myself and not really trying to watch sugar but I just try to cut it here and there, and with her reply I would assume that since I was asking for sugar-free that the brown butter with sugar free as well, but I asked her anyway and she replied no it's the closest that I can get to the taste of sugar-free caramel. If I was watching my sugar and I assumed with her reply that the brown butter was sugar free then I might be in trouble. She explained that all they have is sugar-free vanilla. Didn't feel good vibes...

So much I can say about this coffee shop! A coworker recommended it to me and I’ve been going there every time I get my hair done since! First, the latte! I order a 16 oz latte with almond milk and 3 Splenda. I’m told that the latte art is more difficult than using other types of milk. As you can see in the picture, it is perfect! It is delicious! I also get the avocado toast without the bread. It is amazing. All of the ingredients blend together to make an amazing meal! The atmosphere in the shop is calm and serene. The records are always playing. There is plenty of comfortable seating and the well placed plants bring a sense of nature inside. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It’s very clean and tidy.
