For being in a tiny town so far out from everything, La Lena Mexican Restaurant was a great surprise! We didn’t know what to expect, but upon walking in the door we were immediately greeted with warm smiles and great service! The lady that served us was super on-the-ball and made us feel right at home!
We ordered the sizzling fajitas trio and the enchiladas trio. Both dishes were excellent! In the fajitas, the shrimp, beef and chicken were super flavorful, cooked perfectly and just tasted great. It came with refried beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, and some tortillas (which were cooked perfectly as well)! All three enchiladas were excellent as well. I can’t decide which was my favorite!!
Both meals were super hearty portions (like, super difficult to finish it all!) and it wasn’t nearly as expensive as other Mexicans restaurants elsewhere considering portion sizes. We will definitely return when we visit Pine...
