So our order comes out, and we pay the drink tab, and leave. Note we’ve ordered the exact same thing on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of last week. So when we get home, and open our food, we KNOW that it’s very different than what we are supposed to get. The blackened chicken wings were burnt, and we didn’t get our dipping sauce. This was the case on BOTH blackened wing orders. So we couldn’t even dip the burnt chicken in the wing sauce. The red beans and rice were watered down, and had no absolutely no flavor. My wife had to flavor and doctor them up on the stove. The extra side of seafood sauce I get on the side was watery and had a foul smell to it. Yuck. I had to throw it away outright. And we were missing our side of egg coleslaw. I called and let them know our coleslaw was missing, yet I was unaware of the condition of the rest of the order. My wife opened and prepared our food, she let me know about everything else. So I talked to the unfriendly manager/bartender lady, and she was like “ok cool, we’ll get you a credit for a coleslaw on your next visit.” That’s cool, we appreciate that. So then my wife was like, “This entire order is nothing like what it’s been the other times we ate here, what’s up with that?” So she called right back, and spoke to a male, we don’t remember his name, but he said he was a manager as well. He was helpful. He apologized for the horrible quality of the food in our order, and admitted that they had a new cook in training that night, and that several orders were messed up that evening. He apologized, and gave us a credits specifically for 2 orders of blackened wings, a side of red beans and rice, coleslaw, and a small side of seafood sauce. This was Saturday evening on June 1st. So today on Tuesday, June 4th, my wife and I came here for dinner to redeem our credit. However, upon bringing this to the restaurants attention, one manger had down to replace the missed coleslaw, and the second manager had us down as replacing the whole meal. After going into the restaurant, the manager had no history of a meal being replaced and actually acted as if we were trying to get a free meal, after patronizing the establishment for a week. Adding insult to injury, was loudly over talking my wife, and looking down on his phone when she was trying to explain the situation. Note this is the same manager we had a nice chat with just the week before, when my wife tipped 22%. All in all, the place has great food 5 out of the 6 times we ate there, all in one week. It was the 1 time that the food was just terrible. And they did NOTHING about it for us to accommodate. Despite apologizing, and offering us replacements for our order next visit. They did not live up to their word, the managers disregarded the issue as if we were liars, and acted in a condescending manner. This is how they treated new repeat happy customers who tip 22%. Their actions show that they do not care if customer’s are happy and return to their establishment. It’s the CUSTOMER SERVICE management that’s extremely poor....
Read more(My husband’s review) I first ate at Cajun Corner for lunch after golfing with friends on Memorial Day. The next day, my wife and I went there to dine in for dinner. I had a good experience the 1st time, and wanted to take my wife. We ordered from the beer bar, and ordered some new items from the menu. My wife tipped 22% for what we originally thought was great service. The food was piping hot, and we had a nice chat with the manager. This led to our eating there for dinner several times thereafter throughout last week. Unfortunately this is where the review goes left. Our last order made Saturday, June 1st for dinner, wasn’t as pleasureful at all. My wife and I entered all excited, because we just knew we were about to get some good food, with good service, as we’ve received all week. Well, that’s just not what happened. We make our order, and my wife tells the lady taking our order how pleased we are with the service, it’s our 6th time in a row this week. She just kinda looks at us and was like, “Oh, okay.” No smile or personality, but no biggie we thought. So after we order, we go to the bar for a drink. The same unfriendly lady (she didn’t give her name, but she has pinkish red highlights) comes to the bar to make our drink. This drink was watered down with no flavor. My wife tasted it and thought the same thing. She was surprised, as we haven’t till this point us anything that didn’t taste good. So I asked the lady to just give me a refund. Note this same lady who took our order, also made our drinks, yet she was not the bartender. We found out she’s also a manager. She ignores my requests for a return, and with a rude tone, offers another drink. My wife orders another drink. This one was a bit better. So that was that. We weren’t too pleased that our $8 refund request wasn’t heard as continued customers, but I guess they don’t...
Read moreThe 1st time we went, we love it. We got the surf and turf. The 2nd time we went, we ordered the same thing, but this has brown rice instead of white rice and covered with onions. My wife can not eat onion, it give her migraines. So I got in touch with a manager. She was horrible!! We told her she could not eat onions and asked to remake it, she said no, that we should have requested to leave off the inions. I told her the 1st time we ordered it, it no onions, so why would we request no onions? She just kept telling me "It ALWAYS comes with onions, unless you request we don't put them on there." I kept tell her it did not come with onions and she kept repeating that statement. Basically calling me a liar over and over. I asked to remake it again, she said it was against her policy. I asked for a refund, said it was against her policy. I asked what I was supposed to do with a meal that I cant eat or get a refund for. She just kept repeating that statement. By this time I was LIVID. I asked if she had a boss, yes the owner. I asked her to call him. She said she would but the answer won't change. Five minutes later she comes back and says they will remake it. Fine, but my experience was already ruined. Her name was either Elliot or Kayla. We went Thursday, September 1st at dinner-time. When I talked to my neighbor, she said she ordered the same thing and it did NOT have onions on it. If you do their, just remember their "policy" is screw the customer if you don't like it. I won't be back, nor will my neighbors. Too bad cause the food is...
