Chelio's Diner — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

It seemed like a really nice diner to stop at and we came in at a late hour after a festival hoping to eat some good food before traveling back to Lawton, OK. We were rudely greeted as if we were a burden being there. There was 11 of us, but we weren't in a rush my mashed potatoes were microwaved and we're almost like a thick jelly, the green beans were not seasoned at all adding salt and pepper didn't help, the cat fish seemed like it was expired it smelt so bad and was super slimy I couldn't even bring my self to bite it because of how foul it smelled and someone else at the table said it tasted off. There were no sear on there steaks, the Salisbury steak was worse then banquet, and there just was absolutely no seasoning on anything. Everything here seems frozen and then warmed up there mozzarella sticks and popcorn chicken were from the freezer and then fried but that was the only thing I could eat. I was terrified to get dessert because of how ugly and rude the waitress was. Everytime our waitress came to our table she told us she was 72 and too old for this, but she applied to be there and we got most of the things we needed ourself from the waitress area we were sitting near. If she really is too old for this she should just be checking people out or something. This was a great table to earn some money for this place and I felt unwelcomed and like a bother to the waitress and the diner. We won't be coming back here, and it's is now placed on our don't go list...

Super Rude absolutely no kind of customer service I called after looking at the menu only which is drastically off price I was placed on hold the first call they guy never came back to the phone called again it ran some one picked up aNd hung it backup then I called the third time speaking with owner and I told him I wanted the jumbo pizza that was 11.75 he said mam the pizza is 13.50 I said it says it 11.75 online he’s like those are hers old prices Nd they are worn I did but that’s why your menu says it’s not my fault the prices are wrong , he says to me it’s not my fault either set down the phone and walks away I m just saying hello repeatedly I hang up and call back and they don’t answer I don’t even want to order here anymore genuinely scared they might do something to my food and I had only been once before to pick up a Postmates indecided to take my whole family about 8 of us to eat and try it one day but tonight I wanted to order the pizzas they can forget about any service from anyone in my family ever sad and even doing my delivery for Postmates the one order I did I had to wait at least 30 minutes with about 4 other people for Orders that should have been ready also saw entire families leave within minutes of arriving... I felt bad for them and thought maybe they could use some restaurant impossible but I wanted to try them now I don’t give a damn and they won’t ever get...

The service sucks and the food is not good at all. I can't fathom why the people writing these reviews would say otherwise. I ordered a pizza. Stepped outside for about 8 minutes. Walked back in and took a seat. About 15 to 20 minutes later, I think my order is taking entirely too long. 5 minutes later the lady at the register asks if I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and beef. She then turns around and grabs my pizza that had apparently been sitting there for at least 15 minutes (judging from how lukewarm it was when I bit into it). This lady was literally standing there looking at me for the previous 15-20 minutes letting my pizza get cold while I waited. This woman was not the one who had taken my order and I'm sure she was unaware it was behind her but the fact remains she took no initiative to find out what I was waiting for until my pizza had been sitting there for far too long. On top of that, it's not even remotely good pizza despite what others say in these reviews. It's not even on par with Little Cesaer's as far as quality goes. I literally ate two slices and threw the rest in the garbage. BTW, I tried steak there later thinking it had to be better than the pizza. Wrong. It was tough and flavorless. Absolutely no seasoning....
