Old School Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Update 5/2023 The new ownership has been fantastic. We come here FREQUENTLY. They always take care of my kiddo’s particular order. We get our softball team’s bagels here on Saturday mornings.

The staff is always kind and welcoming. The new manager does an amazing job of keeping the place running smoothly and has hired a fantastic staff. Shop local and come to the local Old School Bagel!

This business is absolutely absurd and completely disrespectful. The staff is rude to your face and they do not deserve your business.

They do not close at 3PM. They close at 2:45 PM even though all signs say 3 PM. But they will kick you out if you walk in at 2:42 PM. Go to Panera or any other cafe.

I specifically said I want my bagel and meat cold. The girl put on the receipt that I wanted it warm. Also I said I didn’t want any onions on it. I had to go back and tell her I asked for a cold sandwich. She wasn’t happy with that. When I got my bagel it has onions on it. I had made sure she heard me because I didn’t want cheese or onions. I made eye contact with her and said it again. When i finally got my bagel it had onions on it. She started arguing with me saying i don’t tell her. She grabbed my sandwich and threw it into the trash. I couldn’t believe she was so rude! . They really have no idea how to make a good sandwich. The meat was just a little wad of meat. I love old school bagel. Went to the one in Norman all the time, but this one has some work to do. I was missing a bagel and the staff didn't really know what to do and one even loudly said I definitely put that in the bag. I did admit I made a mistake in naming which bagel was missing and it was resolved when I grabbed the bag from my car but that could have been handled discreetly. Felt like i paid for something and i was being called a liar standing there. Nobody was even addressing me just loudly talking amongst themselves.
