When was the last time you went to a restaurant and you felt like you were the most important customer ever to walk in? How about the last time you felt like your dollar bought so much more than you were expecting? My family and I visited on the evening of the 12th of May after a recital - and I have to tell you my experience. My family of 5 plus my in-laws walked in - seemingly before a rush (thankfully) and a courteous young man was at the counter to help us out. We were going to order 2 large pizzas right off the menu, but the young man suggested we purchase the family XL deal - 2 XL pizza's (1 topping I think) an order of cheese bread and a 2 liter soda, OR fountain drinks for my whole party of 7 people. All for 29.99 (without tax). We chose to eat in and have fountain drinks. So we did add a topping to 1 pizza so our total with tax ended up at 37$ When our first GINORMOUS XL pizza came out - the staff brought out small bowls of marinara sauce with what looked like chopped basil on top - that was a nice surprise that we didn't know about. We dug right in - now we did order 2 pizzas and after a few minutes we did ask about the second pizza - one of the staff checked on it the order - and they forgot to make pizza 2 for us. They apologized heavily and told us we would be compensated for pizza # 2. So, let me detail the pizza - the XL is simply HUGE. I would almost say bigger than a papajohns XL pizza easily. The first pizza was pepperoni - so - typically there is a bit of grease involved - but the pizza sauce (which to my taste was very good) added to the grease a little as well. The crust I believe was hand tossed - so not super thick - a bit droopy - almost like you have to fold the slice up in half in your hand - if you want to eat it by hand - I chose to cut it up and eat it with a fork. (I'm a bit OCD about trying to keep clean while eating so...) The cheesebread I have to say to me was just standard fare cheesebread - not distinguishing itself from any other that' would make me exclaim how amazing it was - but the marinara to dip it in was REALLY good. Our second pizza did make it out - but we only ate like 2 pieces because we ate the majority of the first pizza while waiting. So - I wish I lived closer to "The Original Bella's Pizzeria" - This would be my new Friday night pizza without fail. For the family XL deal - that's a no brainer. (On a side note - when some local firefighters came in to pick up their order - it was on the house, and they weren't not expecting that) Totally awesome!! Way to support our firefighters! I wish we had more businesses like these guys! We used to, but it seems even more rare today - or I'm not looking...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a reason to try this pizza place out, this is your sign. A neighbor told us about this place and we had to try it! We ordered ahead of time which in my opinion you should do because the wait could be around 35 minutes. We ordered ahead and had to wait an additional 6 minutes which was fine considering. The store is very small. They have one large table with chairs and a small table with 4 chairs to sit at. So definitely plan to take this to go. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The dough is homemade which I absolutely love since I make pizza homemade. We stopped by here because I did not want to cook or spend 2 hours making homemade dough on the way back from being out of town. The pizzas are more of a thin crust which my husband loves. It has the right crisp to it as well. They had the perfect amount of sauce and toppings. We bought the large Alfredo chicken and tomato one. It was called Mooneys. Which came out to under $21. The pizza is huge! I could only eat two slices. Hands down the best take out pizza we’ve had in Oklahoma and Texas. We will definitely be back to try other combinations. Thank...
Read moreSo I’ll start with I am PICKY about my pizza. Mainly the sauce. We got a large 2 meat and cheese bread today. The pizza was delicious! Hot, cheesey , and had a really good amount of toppings! It was actually cut (yes this has become a problem at a lot of pizza joints lately). The crust was cooked perfect and not too thick! Just over all a very flavorful pizza! The sauce was the perfect amount and tasted really great! Now on to the cheese bread! This is hands down my favorite cheese bread I’ve ever had! It had the perfect amount of cheese and was bubbly with maybe garlic salt? Either way DELICIOUS! Now back to the sauce! I got to really taste the marinara sauce with the cheese bread and I’m IN LOVE. I need a whole pizza sized cheese bread with marinara in my life from now on!
The service was great. Yes it was younger kids working but they were smiling, friendly, and polite. My pizza was piping hot and ready the minute I walked in and I was greeted with a smile and a “thanks for trying Bella’s!” Since it was our first time! Pricing is great for the quality of food! We will def be back! We found our...
