Last night I was craving some fried rice really bad because I havenât had any in years! I been residing in mustang since 2019, I finally gave this place a chance because I was just un sure. But my wife co worker from MPS said this was place was great! So I decided to drive to this place around 8pm yesterday. It was a lot of people in their dine in, so it has to be good right? I went to the young waitress to put in a to go order, she was very nice and polite answered all my questions without an attitude or anything. She very helpful and a pleasant delight. I ordered, 1 order of the pork egg rolls and fried rice (no hot)! While I was waiting for my order. The owner came out from kitchen into the dining area, you could tell he was working hard all day but he still kept a smile on his face. He was interacting with his customers as to where it wasnât an annoyance. He even told me he liked my hat and asked whereâd I get it from? I told him and he said thatâs the coolest hat he ever seen. Whether if he meant that or not, I still appreciated it and the customer experience while there. After our brief conversation, my to go order was ready! It didnât seem like I waited long at all! When I finally made it home, I opened up the box for my fried rice it was so much food, I asked for help from my family đ help came! That first bite of the fried rice was a taste of excellence! My craving from the fried rice was fulfilled and went over my expectations! Oh! The pork egg rolls were magnificent! This place receives a 10/10 from me! So we decided to try to go order the first piece of bad news came when the ordering site wouldnât let us check out without giving a tip. From there, it was everything you would expect get a text message notification saying that the order will be ready in 10 to 20 minutes. Then get a message that the restaurant is working on the food. 20 minutes later I arrive at the restaurant to be told that the food is not ready so I wait another 20 minutes at this point I have requested a refund because I already paid a 10% tip on a $60 ticket and Iâm still waiting 30 minutes later she wants to pressure me back saying I will have your food ready in 1015 minutes. Just go have another seat instead of processing the refund. Then they wanted to argue about the fact that the website does not push the tips through to them that youâre actually tipping the website that is putting the order in for you.
One hour later, no food have to go through a stupid Taco Bell. Just unbelievably rude short service my advice if youâre coming in to sit down in the restaurant, Iâm sure youâll have a really good time.    Read moreâI recently visited "Pho Hieu" Mustang for the 2nd time and while the food on the previous visit was no standout or better than "Pho Huong" (which was closed on Weds or I would've went there) today this 2nd visit I was very disappointed with the customer service that I decided to leave and not order. The person who took my order seemed annoyed and never made eye contact nor greeted me when I approached the counter to place my order, which made me feel unwelcome. From the moment I walked in I spoke cordially and said "hello and how are you?" no reply no eye contact from the employee, I work too hard for my money to spend it where they neglect to acknowledge the customer with a simple welcoming greeting. So Pho Hieu I hope you can adress this issue so that the potential positive experience of the food is matched by the service.
That may seem trivial but it matters alot when I can let others like friends and coworkers know to avoid that place and spend their money(missed profit) elsewhere.
