Hi! I have been to summer moon several times in the mustang and yukon locations and typically it is great. Delicious coffee and lattes with typically friendly and quick service. Iām writing my review because of my experience today. I ordered two drinks, one for me that was great and one for my friend who is lactose intolerant. Today the guy who took my order seemed a bit distracted and asked me to repeat my order. When I get to the window I get our drinks and pay. My friend is special needs and cannot tell me if her hot chocolate is made wrong. I tried to taste test it but I have not had enough of summer moon hot chocolate to know the difference. She threw up twice after drinking it. If her allergy was more severe she could have been in the hospital. The line was not busy and it was not a rush. For context she has had their hot chocolate with almond milk before and was fine. Sadly I can no longer take her here because safety is not a priority. I am just so disappointed because this coffee shop is so cute and delicious. Mustang Location.
Edit: I contacted corporate and received a wonderful personal message. They refunded the order and went above and beyond to apologize which was incredibly kind. I personally will return because I love the coffee and how personal the experience is. I have changed my review from 3 to 4 stars and still advise to be careful if you have allergies...

First impressions mean everything - and itās such a bummer walking into a place with multiple employees working and not receiving a warm greeting or even a smile. No āThank youā on the way out either.
Coffee was great per usual, but when itās the middle of the afternoon - and thereās no line inside or cars in the drive-thru, the customer service being provided to guests should be stellar.
I would not return to this location due to that reason alone. The quality at Summer Moon is always fantastic, but the customer service provided is what will keep your customers continuing to return to your location.
It does not help create an enjoyable environment for customers whenever the employees donāt even necessarily look like they want to be there.

Definitely hit or miss on the quality of coffee which is so disappointing because when itās good itās great and when itās not, itās awful. Either watered down or burnt tasting, which is what happens more times than I like. Especially at $6-$7 a cup. I order a 1/2 winter moon too which seems to be a common latte order I would think. The Yukon location is always consistent and always good. They may need to send some Yukon team members to the Mustang location to help train them is my best advice.
