Restaurant Burritos El Tin-Tan #2 — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I used love the restaurant, but, like "Bye Cataligado, Bye"

So I've been a customer for a few years, wether it's at their trucks or the restaurant. I love the food, and up until recently I thought the service was pretty good. I have always been able to order in English, or use the menu shorthand. I've never had a problem with getting extra sauce for my burritos.

Then they hired this older woman with glasses who is all smiles to work the windows. She is why I don't recommend the restaurant to friends anymore. So I've ordered a few times from her, always the same thing. I ask for a red and a green salsa because I like variety. Initially It just sounded like she didn't know those color words, because she just didn't put the extra salsa in ever. Then one day I asked for the sauce again after, and she overloads us with salsa. And next time, she does the same thing. Now I briefly attempt to communicate in Spanish with her, by saying Rojas and Verde instead of the English words. Does not work. We have to go back, or ask after almost every time when she is our server.

Then one day I order a quesadilla, which has these three big pieces, perfect for a little variety. She not only doesn't give me the sauce after I said "bye" she says "Bye Cataligado, Bye" like I'm not gonna hear her. This last time, she did that same thing, only giving me the red, except she just called me "Catali".

I'm just bitter rn, this place reminded me of a simpler time in my life, and now I have to find a new restaurant with worse food.

Exceptional customer service and delicious burritos!!

From the moment I arrived, the staff was very welcoming. In particular, Linda took my order and prepared my food. This was by far the best part of my experience at the restaurant; Linda's exceptional customer service.

Not only was Linda quick and efficient when preparing my order, she was also very friendly and knowledgeable. (If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have known that they have Menudo on Saturdays. Definitely coming back to try it!) Thanks to Linda I felt welcome at the restaurant and was headed back to work before my lunch break ended.

I looked this up last night because I wanted to try the highest recommendation and I saw a plethora of people recommend tin tan. I scheduled the delivery through door dash for the brisket breakfast burrito and I was sorely disappointed. This picture is what I received. I have chronic illness and can't have jalapenos so I ordered no jalapenos and spicy food. It was laced with jalapeno and on top of that so sopping wet I had to put the filling into a mesh seive to squeeze all the wetness out and put it into a tortilla that wasn't soggy. it's still too spicy to eat and...
