I was terribly disappointed in this place. I was out and about one morning and decided I wanted to grab some breakfast. I saw this place and decided to try it out. There was only one server in the restaurant which didn't really matter because it was quite empty. The server wasn't bad but she wasn't great either because she did not ask me how the food tasted and she did not pre bus after I told her that I was finished eating. She just walked past me and said okay with empty hands. Now to the food, I ordered ham eggs home fries and biscuits with gravy. This was $8.99 or possibly $7.99. I didn't mind that so much because the portions were good, however there's no way that an average person could eat everything that was in front of them. I was happy about that because you can always take it home. However it goes in the pen as far as flavor is concerned. The food was not hot. The home fries had been deep fried and then warmed over on a grill with some green peppers and onions which were not all the way cooked. And when I say warmed over I mean barely warmed over so they were almost lukewarm when they were brought to my table. The gravy was bland and the biscuits were terrible. I thought maybe I was happy with the ham steak because it was thick and it looked delicious. I was sorely disappointed when I get into it and felt like I was chewing on a salt lick. A slightly warm salt lick at that. The only thing that was done right were the eggs. All together I spent $12 on my meal and $3 for a tip which would have been five or six dollars if she had done a better job. I will not be back to this place. I can see why it was so empty when I got there at about 9:00 in...
Read moreWent yesterday and just felt like I needed to leave a comment on this. The environment was super nice. Pretty homey. The prices were okay, kinda high for what the food was. My only complaint is that while I was sitting, our waitress came over and went back to her seat. While she was sitting down she started to spray this pink multisurface cleaner on a paper towel. She continued to wipe the bottom of her shoes and sides. and was flipping this paper towel all over. So the chemical was on her hands at this point since she didn't wear gloves. She only went and used one squirt of hand sanitizer. She then brought our plates over with her thumb on the plate almost touching food.
For the price we were paying, and it being a restaurant. I expect sanitization to be super important. I am food safety certified myself and have worked with food before so I know how important washing your hands is. It made me feel ill just from the thought of the food having her shoe and spray on it, so...
Read moreOur food was beyond bland, even though it "was seasoned" according to our server. She asked if I wanted a refill and I said yes and told her my drink, but never got a refill. 1 of us had coffee and and it took over 10mns AFTER the took the cup AWAY for them to realize they'd taken it and 5 more mns to get another cup. Strawberry syrup glass Smuckers bottles sat on tables and looked utterly atrocious, the servers looked uninterested and irritated, there was a small child going in the back and front where food was, very misleading Google suggestion and simply now a regret. We will not return.
Pros: for came out fast, covered parking, separate seating room inside that makes it seem outdoors.
Cons: no flavor at all in the food, single occupied bathroom unavailability, severs seemed very nonchalant, didn't get...
